Approximately 2.7 million U.S. military personnel served in Vietnam during Vietnam War. 648,500 were drafted.
Approximately 500,000 U.S. military personnel who served in Vietnam were directly involved in combat.
Approximately 250,000 of the 500,000 U.S. personnel who were in combat during the Vietnam War were draftees.
Any military personnel who served in Vietnam between January 9, 1962, and May 7, 1975, to be presumed exposed to Agent Orange and is eligible to file a claim with the VA.
(The VA established presumptive service connection for Agent Orange exposure on September 25, 1985).
Only one day of service in Vietnam during the specified period is sufficient for the VA to presume exposure to Agent Orange.
Nobody dies from Agent Orange. They die from diseases caused by AO.
