  1. Lies. Israel didn't even have a delegation in Cairo. Ceasefire is not what Israel is going for, they are going for a 'pause' for a few weeks and then they will resume their genocide. Who on earth would agree to a deal that just means you all continue to get killed, bombed etc. Furthermore, Israel have been using aid as leverage - refusing to allow any in. This is against international law, the wishes of the world and the ICJ provisional measures. Disgusting behavior from the supposedly 'most moral army in the world". This is what Israel is doing: https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/israel-hamas-war-children-starving-famine-warning-death-destruction-rcna141813
  2. That's not what Israel was saying for weeks. You are trying to change the narrative. Shameful. Israel was saying for weeks that there was a systemic campaign of rape and sexual violence. This has been found to be false. The report uses very careful language and does not confirm any of Israel's accusations. It does refute some of them, and it also points out there are no victims currently in Israel - that are alive. There is 'clear and convincing information' from released hostages that other hostages might have been raped. We will find out when (if?) they are released. The report also noted that there are currently Palestinian victims of Israeli soldiers sexually abusing, humiliating, torturing and raping them. Actual evidence form people who are alive. Not a word about that from you eh? Shameful.
  3. No, I accused it of behaving like the Americans and their genocide against the native population - the American Indians. Don't take my words and twist them into something else.
  4. Israel got most of its ideas from the Americans too. This is why they poisoned drinking wells in 46/47 to clear out the local populace. This is why they massacred whole villages. This is why they make 'reservations' - area A,B,C to slowly but surely eradicate any chance of a Palestinian state by taking more and more land, building more and more settlements.
  5. Exactly! European racists caused this problem, and now they want to blame the Arabs.
  6. We both agree that Jews were horribly mistreated in Europe. That is not an Arab problem. It is a European problem. The Jewish communities in the 'Muslim' world were treated very well. Don't believe me? Why not ask an Iraqi Jew - Professor Avi Shlaim - who was very wealthy and happy in Iraq. He is a professor in Oxford University and lives in the UK now, but he was an IDF soldier, was raised in Israel, and spoke of how he was discriminated against as an Arab Jew. Israel is a white supremacist country, and this has been well documented. Arab Jews had to 'prove themselves' and were very poorly treated within Israel. The Jewish 'nakba' - why did you have to steal their words? Stealing their land and homes not enough for you? Anyway. The Jewish nakba was a response to the actual 'nakba' that Israel did -when it murdered and ethnically cleansed around 750,000 Palestinians from their homes, and never allowed them to return. There are indeed some Jews who are indigenous; there were about 15,000 Jews who were living in British Mandate for Palestine. They got along fine in the area, and had been doing so for centuries. The problems occurred when the white Zionist movement came over to Palestine and decided they wanted a racist state. Read Hershel's letters, they are quite illuminating. You can't claim that Europeans who had lived in Europe for the last 2000 years are indigenous to the land. That would be as ridiculous as saying we are all from Africa, so therefore we are all entitled to move to Africa and do whatever we want with the black population. Oh, that's right, we did that before. South Africa, apartheid, etc. No, according to my 'vile narrative' Jews were kicked out of Europe due to racist ideology, pogroms across the continent and religious frictions between Christian/Jewish communities. At the end of the day, they were kicked out of their homes for being Jewish. This is not an Arab problem, it is a European problem. Instead of acknowledging these past crimes, and facing up to the responsibility, they decided to send them to Palestine - a place that already had an indigenous population, and a place that the British had promised to hand back to the native Arabs before the Balfour declaration was ever even thought of. My problem is not with Jews. I have a problem with Israelis - they should not exist. If you look into the vote surrounding the creation of Israel, it actually goes against the UN charter - it was an illegal vote. Furthermore, the security council resolution was 1 vote under quorum - further making it an illegal document. Israel is an illegal, immoral state and must end. The land is Palestine, and it should return to being Palestine. European's have no right to steal other people's land based on a 3000 year old book that claims Abraham was a 175 year man directly descended from Noah. Interestingly, their holy book points out quite clearly that the Jews originated from Iraq and moved to Palestine as conquerors of the indigenous Canaanites. How can you claim Jews are from Israel, when their holy book says they are from Iraq. Israel is a 'promised land' - not the birthplace land.
  7. Jew hate? Nope. Stop trying to conflate Israel with Jewishness. Millions of Jews around the world lived in Arab and African countries for centuries without fear. Jews who lived in Europe are the ones who faced antisemitism, as it is a Christian phenomenon. Ignoring the mass immigration of Europeans who had a home country to Arab lands from the early 1900's - 1948 is monstrous. Look at Britain today with it's "stop the boats" and the USA today with its "shut down the border and impeach the secretary" when talking about immigration to those countries. They don't like immigrants coming, but Arabs have to put up with it because they aren't white?
  8. Israel is a racist, settler colonial project that would not have been possible without hundreds of thousand of white European settlers stealing the land and homes of the indigenous people. Keep supporting this mad project that has killed millions over the last 100 years. Israel should not exist, and does not deserve to exist.
  9. Hamas is a government. They are also freedom fighters. They are not terrorists. Terrorists don't have ministries, a government and are most definitely not elected to represent the people. This is an American and Israeli tactic to smother any information coming out of Gaza, and to reduce the people and government's standing. Hamas is not to blame, Israel is. Israel is a settler colonial project that has failed, and must end. Interesting to note that the source of this article is 'the times of Israel'. Why did they not choose to link directly to the source? Because the source - The UN- does not say there is evidence of systemic rape. In fact, they point out very clearly that they did not speak to a single victim or survivor of rape. They also point out that this was NOT an investigation, and that they did not collect any evidence. In fact, the report notes that there is very little evidence, noting that it might be impossible to verify any of Israel's claims. The language used by the UN was very careful, in fact it actually downplays and refutes Israel's claims. It also notes that there is actual evidence of Israelis raping and sexually abusing Palestinians. They were able to speak to real people who claimed Israeli soldiers abused, beat, starved, humiliated and raped them. This is first hand evidence, and detailed in the report.... but no mention of Arabs getting raped in this thread. Why? Bias. This is why people need to read the actual sources, and not rely on biased reporting from Israel. Here is the UN report in full, from the UN's website. https://news.un.org/en/story/2024/03/1147217
  10. You should read up on who started this conflict 100 years ago.... Zionists and the British are to blame.
  11. Educate yourself: They use sugar as fuel. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qassam_rocket
  12. Arabs have lived in that land for over a millennia. Any lies to say they haven't are just precisely that, lies. It has been under Arab rule for over 1,600 years. No, they were not going home. White Europeans never, ever inhabited that area. Your also historically inaccurate. It was the Romans who expelled the Jews from that area. Let's leave your Islamophobia out of this shall we? Abraham himself was born in what is now modern day Iraq, and moved to Israel to conquer the Canaanites - our modern day 'Palestinians' - because god told him that this was their promised land. So technically, the birthplace of the Jewish race is where the Jews originated from - Iraq.
  13. Fake news. Educate yourself! I'm tired of having to teach you basic history and facts. From a right wing American source: https://www.foxnews.com/politics/anti-israel-content-un-textbooks From UNRWA:
  14. No, the place is now yours because of British duplicity, and European racism. The ethnic cleansing, massacres and colonialism needed to establish Israel can never be justified, regardless of who was there first. It’s a moot point. Even if we follow the argument that Palestinians have only been there for 1300 years, does this suddenly legitimize the expulsion of hundreds of thousands? Of course not. There is no possible scenario where it is excusable to ethnically cleanse a people and colonize their lands. Human rights apply to people universally, regardless of whether they have lived in an area for a year or ten thousand years.
  15. Your ignoring history. The area has been Arab for over 2000 years, just after the Roman Conquest ended. Ignoring this makes you look ignorant at best, a liar at the worst.
  16. This is a story of intrigue among rival empires; of misguided strategies; and of how conflicting promises to Palestine and Israel created a legacy of bloodshed which determined the fate of the Middle East. Avi Shlaim, Professor of International Relations at Oxford University, calls it 'one of the best historical documentaries on the Middle East I have ever seen'.
  17. "If you aren’t careful, the newspapers will have you hating the people who are being oppressed and loving the people who are doing the oppressing.” ― Malcom X Hamas are resistance fighters, fighting their occupier and oppressors.
  18. Because it is ridiculous! People talk like its a war, but it isn't. It is a highly sophisticated army with the military might and financial backing of America against an oppressed population that has been living in an open air prison, with no weapons manufacturing capability, no army, no air force, no bombs, nothing.
  19. No, they have been living in the area for thousands of years. The problem is people don't accept that Palestinians are legally allowed to resist their occupiers - it is literally written down in law, and Israel has signed up to follow these laws (Geneva conventions).
  20. 243 Israeli soldiers dead in the war 29,000 Palestinians. Tell the Palestinians its a fair fight. I dare you
  21. Is it a war when one group has handmade rockets, the fuel used to fire them is compressed sugar - despite firing thousands of them, they fail to cause any actual harm or death. The other side has nuclear weapons.
