  1. "Thai Tourist Police Corporal Kanjanawadee Pongkhunt known as 'Jinny' (L) patrols past Thai bar girls late 07 December 1999 in Bangkok's infamous red-light district of Patpong. Jinny, a 26-year-old computer science student equally fluent in English and Thai kick boxing, is part of the some 1,000 specially-trained Tourist Police dispatched around the country's tourist venues " If Jinny is 26 years old, she looks might old and grown up for a 3 year old in December 1999.
  2. Copper doesn't actually rust. It might corrode a bit but that isn't going to affect its conductivity, certainly not after a mere 5 years. By all means clean it if you want, but I would doubt very much that is needs replacing.
  3. For me, the thing about doing very high speeds is not being caught by the cops for speeding, it's the danger from other road users. One might pull out in front of you, change lanes, or simply do something you don't expect because they don't see you coming. When you're doing 2, 3 or 4 times their speed, it might be difficult for you to adjust your position or speed in time.
  4. Babushka means old woman, doesn't it? What's the word for young woman? (asking for a friend ???? )
  5. Thanks a lot. Do I need to go prepared with a photograph or can I get one taken in the airport? And finally, I think, where is it located in the airport?
  6. The students might be on a break but the staff might still be there. It's worth popping in if you are nearby.
  7. Is it still possible to get a reentry permit at the airport (Suvarnabhumi) before flying out of the country? If so, what time is the office/booth open? I could get a reentry permit at my local immigration office beforehand but it's not really convenient.
  8. Have you tried contacting the local university? https://www.ubru.ac.th/
  9. I think you are confusing sex with love making (I have experience with both). If you're having sex with a rubber doll or the palm of your hand, who cares that the doll or hand is satisfied? And if one side is a customer in a business transaction, surely the customer getting his or her sexual satisfaction is priority.
  10. I once did 138-140mph on a quiet motorway and I wouldn't want to do it again unless it was a closed road. 175mph must have been very risky on a public road.
  11. Perhaps they are using the Russian Mir card in Thailand.
  12. Fasting in two of the hottest months in Thailand must be tough, especially for those who will have to work. Relax and keep your air-conditioning on all day if you can.
  13. There is a lot of choice available in Thailand for coffee drinkers. No one place is king for me. It all depends on what I want at any one time. I have my favourites and there are some places I go to occasionally. I go to Starbucks occasionally. The good thing about them (if you like their coffee) is that the taste of their coffee is consistent. The downside is that it is expensive for what you get. I have had much better coffee cheaper in several places, including a speciality coffee shop but it really wasn't worth the wait there (weigh the beans, grind the beans, weigh the ground beans, measure the water, weigh the output, time it to the second, etc) . I quite like the taste of 7 eleven fresh coffee (30 baht for a latte) and it's convenient. Fresh coffee in McDonald's is OK. Amazon is mostly OK and fairly consistent. Independent shops, you never know until you try them, but that can be fun and can turn up some gems as well as duds.
  14. You can get unlimited internet packages with AIS for 180 days and 360 days as well as the 30, 15, 7 days, etc. That's for pre-paid packages, Internet on top, Unlimited Internet. You then only have to renew every 180 or 360 days if that's what you want.
  15. Perhaps it is just to push, prod and encourage other Western/NATO countries to supply planes to Ukraine. If it works, the richer nations will likely supply newer and more advanced aircraft than those supplied by Poland and Slovakia.
  16. From the photo in the INN article (linked in the OP), I'd say the body landed on the ground at the entrance to the car park at Baiyoke 2 (Ratchaprarop).
  17. Only Fans. It's all about the money for the content providers.
