  1. A bolshy and belligerent Volodymyr Zelensky, who was seeking security guarantees from the United States, thought it would be a good idea to argue with the American leadership in front of cameras and openly challenged JD Vance who had advocated for diplomacy. In his usual fashion Zelensky claimed Putin cannot be talked with, the Ukrainian however was quickly slapped down and put in his place by Donald Trump who told him he was gambling with World War 3. Trump also made clear Zelensky has to fall in line or be destroyed by Russia without US aid. Zelensky had to leave WITHOUT US guarantees for Ukraine and was asked to leave the Oval Office prematurely. What a blessing it is to have Donald Trump in the White House, ensuring that World War 3 will not happen, despite the best attempts of Ukraine and the UK. Thank you president Trump.
  2. Without a doubt Merz is the smartest politician German has had in the last 20 years. However, he is firmly in the pocket of Israel, so same old same old. Not the bold and fearless original thinker Trump is. Yet clearly better than the Linke or SPD.
  3. How dumb do you have to be to stab someone at a shopping mall, where there are cameras everywhere? No wonder he got caught. Whatever happened to staking out your victim, stalking him and stabbing him in a dark part of an empty street at night? It's not rocket science.
  4. No, as I wrote above, Russia NEVER EVER....EVVVVAAAHHHHH had any interest in taking the whole of Ukraine. They only invaded Ukraine AFTER the West made clear they want to incorporate Ukraine into NATO and Ukraine made clear it would switch sides to the US And Europe and NATO. But Ukraine is not Poland, Ukraine is a far more important neighbour of a giant nuclear power. Just as Pananma could not do what it wanted and had to face US invasion, so Ukraine has no freedom to do what it wants. Why? Because both Panama and Ukraine are neighbours of major nuclear powers. That's just real life politics. The Russian passports only came AFTER NATO made clear they lied and intended to incorporate Ukraine btw.
  5. It's a long and tiresome litany of Ukrainian provocations, but in a nutshell, Ukraine should never have tried to poke Russia in th eye by opening her legs for the West, they should have understood that they are a neighbour of a nuclear power and an integral part of Russia's vital sphere of influence. The West was always only going to indulge in a one-night stand, and look how afraid they rightly are to face a nuclear power like Russia, no troops on the ground. It was a fool's errand to listen to Boris Johnson and go to war with Russia. What should have happened is that Ukraine should have agreed with Russia way back when Boris Johnson flew to see Zelensky and interfere by preventing precisely that from happening. Yes, Ukraine would have divested itself of the Donbass, in which it never showed any real care or interest, but so what? It will lose it anyway now, no matter what. Russia never wanted this war, and never had any intention of taking the whole country of Ukraine. All they wanted was a friendly or neutral Ukraine that did not fornicate with the West. Ukraine cheated on Russia, and in the worst possible way. Only in this adultery thousands of innocent women and children had to die, all because Zelensky thought he was warlord, when in fact he's a comedian. Now the joke's on him. No more US support and only surrender as a viable option.
  6. Idioticy is what Zelensky is doing, as Trump wisely observed in a few months Zelensky won't have a country anymore. Russia is destroying Ukraine. True idioticy is the cheerleading by Western virtue signallers trying to armchair warrior themselves into a frenzy whilst they support the ongoing killing and destruction of Ukraine for a senseless and pointless war that should never have happened. The sooner this war ends, the better it will be.
  7. Lol, it's well known who blew up Nord Stream: "The Nord Stream gas pipeline was blown up by a small Ukrainian sabotage team in an operation that was initially approved by Volodymyr Zelenskiy and then called off, but which went ahead anyway, according to claims in a report in the Wall Street Journal." https://www.theguardian.com/world/article/2024/aug/15/ukrainian-team-blew-up-nord-stream-pipeline-claims-report The only ones full of BS are the apologists for Ukraine.
  8. You have to laugh at this nonsense, as if in the US, UK or Canada or Australia nobody killed their gf or neighbour. There is far more crime and domestic violence in those countries, and none of that somehow negates Western civlization. Neither do instances of crime in Thailand do so. Just a ludicrous and laughable argument.
  9. It is insulting to anyone's intelligence to equate such exceptional instances as somehow indicative of a lack of civlization, equally one could argue that school shootings in the US, Jack the Ripper in the UK hacking people to death, etc etc somehow negates British or American civillization. Plainly a wholly ludicrous argument of very low intelligence.
  10. Obviously there are differences between nations, but I am referring to South East Asia, where we are of course, and Thailand in particular. Taking away some of the superstition component which saw a 70 year old man persuading believeres to consume his bodily fluids as they thought they would heal them, and other ludicrous superstitions, which let's not forget proliferated in Europe not so long ago and still do in some quarters, Thailand is a very civilized place. Of course Pattaya and parts of the South are not that safe, but I am referring to Chiang Mai, where I lieve and Bangkok really. I have never felt unsafe in Thailand. Though I like to leave the door open to encourage intruders like Pagliacci.
  11. Asians are highly civlized, it just their civilization has some differences to our own civilization. For istance this greater fear emphasis and the lack of truth and integrity as a value, but apart from this differences clearly Asia is more civilized than Europe in many respects.
  12. Wonderful to see that Trump sees to the heart of the matter, and the real history of the conflict, because indeed it was Ukraine that repeatedly provoked Russia and carries most of the blame for the conflict. Early on Ukraine and Russia could have negotiated a sensible solution but Zelensky, at the behest of that charlatan Boris Johnson, preferred to go to war with a nuclear power. Ukraine went mad dog, and it is good that America is now reigning in the lunatics who blew up the Northstream pipeline. Trump is telling the truth, this war need never have happened, even if he is blanking out Anmerica's and Britain's responsibility for precipitating it when they egged on Zelensky in private talks not to do the deal with Russia way back when.
  13. I love the Taiwanese, all Asians really, highly civilized people, bujt they strike me as overly prone to fear. Like when you go to the bathroom and they tell me they're terrified if I flush toilet paper down the toilet. Instead, to be safe, put it in the bin. Really? Or wearing masks in times of no pollution and no covid, you know it happened! They are so afraid of everything. It's weird. How can you be afraid of Thailand, one of the safest places on earth? As long as you're not driving and breathing.
  14. It's not convincing that this has to do with "wealthy Thais", because it was clear at the outset that the new tax rules would impact wealthy Thais, that was the point. More likely this has to do with the changed economic landscape created by Trump's tariffs, which will greatly affect China and Thailand sees a chance to get more foreign investement from China.
  15. Which just adds to the tragedy, you'd be unable to tell which girls are pretty and which are ugly. Unless we develop very discerning eyesight, or maybe tweak the glasses to develop a program that takes an AI pic without the glasses she's wearing.
  16. From an aesthetic perspective this would be a total nightmare. If you thought girls wearing facemaks during daily outings was bad, imagine them wearing clunky Google/China glasses frames. It would be the death of beauty. Having a beautiful face would become meaningless. All you'd see is a sea of nerds.
  17. Taylor Swift's awesome power should not be underestimated, when those unregistered younger votes sided with Harris, that really brought up Harris' numbers. Of course Trump still won, but those unregistered voters stirred by Swift - what awesome power... Hahahahaha
  18. You can see how at age 29 her Coyote Dancing career was coming to an end. Due to a mismanagement of finances she had to take a chance and roll the dice. Sadly she didn't make it, but the good news a Coyote Dancing spot for a younger girl just opened up. The circle of life.
  19. Why would you prefer Philippines over Thailand? Just curious.
  20. If you google "Bek Sloy" Tik Tok dancers, you will be so hooked on Cambodia you'll actuallly want to move there. I had to stop watching. The temptation was too great.
  21. Yah me too. I was at a restaurant when this obnoxious older German came in. This was a top quality restaurant with Royal Balinese food and this old German in a wheelchair loudly demanded "Pfifferlinge, no I want Pfifferlinge". He called for other staff and the manager asking for this nonsense instead of what was on the menu. Clearly he just wanted to abuse people. It ruined my romantic dinner and I was livid. I went to over to him and told him "Listen, either you shut up or I'll make you shut up". He was quite after that.
  22. First congratulations on taking a very, very long-sighted view. That's very wise and laudable. Right now I have no issue to go to Pattaya once a year. If in 40 years I do find it a struggle, I'd still do it. What doesn't kill me only makes me stronger. Thailand at any cost. If Donmuang can make it to the USA at 87, I'm pretty sure I can make it to Pattaya.
  23. I was paranoid about this. I told the local Visa associate girl I will come to pick up my passport in person in Pattaya. We exchanged Line details and agreed to meet when the passport was ready. When Immigration finalised the visa/extension in record time I was told "It is done" by Mr Big. Mr Big also told me that my passport had been sent from Pattaya to himself in Bangkok. He had not been informed by the local Visa associate girl in Pattaya that I had arranged with her to pick up my passport in person with her in Pattaya. The Visa Associatge girl, terrified of Mr Big, just sent him the passport. When I contacted her "But we agreed that I pick up the passport" and explained I now had to stay in Bangkok 2 more days (the time it took for the passport to travel from Pattaya to Bangkok) she just replied "We don't trouble with the agency". Mr Big must be a dangerous man. So fast forward 3 days later, it took not one but 3 days for my passport to travel from Pattaya to Bangkok because Visa Associate girl had omitted to put Mr Big's address at the post office. When Mr Big finally received my passport I was already back in CM. Mr Big then arranged for my passport to be dropped by Grab (!) at the reception of a well known hotel where one of my associates then retrieved my passport into safety. I was sweating blood sweat and tears knowing my passport was being sent via Grab and Thai Postal service. I am still amazed it was not lost. If anyone does this, make it very clear to all parties you will pick up the passport from the 1st point of contact to avoid your passport going on a Chevy Chase vacation.
  24. Great to hear these success stories, really appreciate the feedback. Just out of interest, why did you change from marriage visa to retirement visa?
  25. Interesting. It is still a small price to pay if you do it yourself. I think the extension done by the agent will get cheaper than the first application, but it is still going to cost more than a medical certificate.
