  1. The other day I ordered fries from a food stand in a market. At the end of eating I had the most disgusting oil taste in my mouth. I really don't know what they use here, but it's got a weird after taste.
  2. You should never trust police. In any country. In every country police are useless at best, and so stupid it's dangerous at worst. It's the same in every country.
  3. Not at all, he was a diplomat and a real gentleman. Also accompanied by a stunning blonde.
  4. Your link actually supports what I said.
  5. That's completely wrong actually. Everybody gets depressed to some degree, so it's perfectly normal and common. It only becomes a mental illness when the depressions occurs more often and is more severe than is normally the case.
  6. Actually the body needs a ceratin amount of fat. Whether you get fat is determined by the overall calories you eat, not whether you use an air-fryer. If you have weight problems you're much better off restricting calories than using an air-fryer.
  7. PTSD is not a serious injury. Maybe re-read what the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board is actually for. Clearly you're not qualified to opine on these things.
  8. Lol, that was 14000 years ago! And since they were a European wide lion, shouldn't the EU really have the lion as symboll? I mean since England proved to be an unhospitable environment for lions, and they actually died out there, due to the awful weather, just way too cold, surely the last thing a lion would want to see, if he ever came back would be be Britain. He'd be like "Oh no, that's that ice cold place where we all died" to his mates... No, no, no, this doesn't make sense. Britain should get a more suitable symbol. the otter, or hedgehog or beaver, these would make a lot more sense. The lion, that's just not credible and a bit silly. And yeah, the welsh dragon, don't get me started.
  9. Indeed. This is what the man said at trial.
  10. Sounds delicious.
  11. Creatine.
  12. It's obvious if you listen to the audio. Just a joke, but some people have no sense of humour I guess.
  13. He was joking, lol.
  14. Well, can we blame him, given the chance where would you rather stay, the Med, south of France or Herne Bay? The lion would be a better symbol for Tanzania or Uganda, you know places where lions actually live. For Britain i's a bit of deranged symbol, since there are no lions in Britain. I mean Italy doesn't have kangaroos as a symbol, Spain doesn't have the Vietnamese pot belly pig as a symbol. Botswana doesn't have the Enlish woodpecker as a symbol. If everyone did what Britain's doing it would be a madhouse.
  15. Sloane's do the best Cumberland sausages. But it'll cost you.
  16. Things you can't cook in the useless unaliving machine, aka "air fryer" ( as if it fries the air, lol): Liquids & Batters Wet Batters: Wet batter won't set properly and will drip through the basket, creating a sticky mess and potentially burning the base of your air fryer. Saucy Dishes: Soups, stews, or anything with a lot of liquid is not suitable for an air fryer, as the liquid will splatter everywhere and make a mess. Excessive Marinades: Very wet or watery marinades can make the food soggy instead of crispy. Grains & Dry Foods Raw Rice and Grains: Grains like rice and quinoa require boiling water to soften and cook, which an air fryer cannot provide. Pasta: Like rice, pasta needs to be cooked in boiling water. Popcorn: Air fryers are not designed to pop popcorn and are not hot enough to make it happen. Delicate & Small Items Leafy Greens: Delicate greens like spinach and kale can easily burn or fly around in the high-speed air circulation. Loose Breadcrumbs: Foods with loose breading can get blown around, leading to uneven cooking. Small or Delicate Fish: These can break apart or become overcooked in the air fryer's strong airflow. Large Items & Baked Goods Whole Roasts & Poultry: Large cuts of meat or whole chickens often do not cook evenly in an air fryer. Raw Cheese: Cheese will melt and create a sticky, hard-to-clean mess. Uncooked Grains & Beans: Items like dry beans also require boiling in water to cook. Delicate Baked Goods: Items like tarts and large cakes aren't suited for air frying. Other Foods Raw Vegetables: Root vegetables may not soften all the way, and raw produce can become soggy. Foods That Require Soaking or Boiling: Anything that needs to be boiled or submerged in water, like grains and pasta, is not suitable for an air fryer.
  17. That's impossible. You should see the list of supplements I take...
  18. Hey, I dont' mention the big "D" word out of concern for you and this is the thanks I get?
  19. Because I'm a very mild and mellow guy.
  20. I've had both air-fryer chicken wings and regular deep fried chicken wings, the latter are far more delicious. The end result of the cooking from an air-fryer is invariably sub-standard. The air-fryer is basically a time saver for lazy people, best case scenario, or an unaliving device in the worst case.
  21. Clearly when the Criminal Injuries Compensation Scheme was set up in the 60s it was mean to compensate victims of violent crime only who sustained serious injujries. This is further evidenced by the same roof rule, which for over 5 decades prevented vicitms of domestic abuse to claim under this scheme, until a court ruling changed that in 2018. It was not meant to compensate victims of sexual abuse, unless there was serious injury and it was a crime of violence. This scheme in the UK is one of the most generous in the world and has cost the UK taxpayer over 3 billion pounds. Of course instances where parents have lost children, where victims of crime have sustained serious injury in a violent crime can give rise to justifiable claims. As for a woman who's had a man put a hand down her trousers having the nerve to claim compensation from this scheme, this is absolutely disgusting and there should be penalties for this friviolous abuse of a government scheme to compensate victims of serious violent crimes. It's a fraud on the taxpayer really. Absolutely disgusting.
  22. Only if they apply for a study visa, work visa or tourist visa to the US. How many of the 80+ oldtimers on here do you think will apply for a study visa in the US? Or a work visa? Or tourist visa?
  23. True enough, but in the spirit of equality if a woman with a strap-on jumps you she should really be charged with rape. It's just easier.
  24. Trump has done a lot more than "lip service". You will recall the NATO secretary general was very effusive about all his efforts. Trump has done more to bring peace than any of the European leaders, von der Leyen, Macron, Starmer, Gonzalez, which is disgraceful really given that Ukraine is closer to Europe.
