    Start revoking licenses, clean up the taxi mafias, eventually you'll weed out the trash and end up with respectable drivers that people can trust. There are way too many taxi drivers out there, some that should never be allowed to drive a tricycle let alone a taxi, they need to be purged.

    Maybe motorcycles suppliers/dealers should start offering GPS trackers on motorcycles, seems to be a necessity nowadays.

    Yeah, I've always followed the rule of driving only fast enough for what I can see and safely stop for in front of me, here they see a dangerous situation happening and they speed up in to it......Mind boggling!

    A vehicle that is barely legal on the road, add speeding, and the outcome here shouldn't be unexpected.

    The typical drivers reaction time to a dangerous situation is like 1.5 seconds, in the case of a Thai it's measured in minutes. No shock here, nor unusual.

    The problem is it was reduced here over the years, from I think 10 Million Baht, to then 5 Million baht, then to 1 Million baht. It's a ridiculously low deposit insurance, but I assume they were trying to force people to invest it instead, thus now you have scams luring people to their doom.
