  1. It won't be coming from the profits of the businesses, all expenses of a business are paid by the customers, so the end result is the customers of the bank or mobile operator will be stuck with the bill, one way or the other.
  2. Yeah I didn't read through 18 pages.....LOL But I am not talking about the CRF, I am talking more about strictly off-road motorcycles, they have no signals, no headlight, no taillight, and no license plates. Just wondering if they are even remotely allowed on the streets, or be registered? I see them occasionally, but riding them on Bangkok Metro city streets catches my attention.
  3. I see a bundle of these off-road motorcycles on city streets, obviously with no lights or license plates. Can they even be registered for road use here? I would think not, but no idea how Thailand handles these. I just assume that they are completely illegal on Thai roads, and with no enforcement, the riders just drive them anyway.
  4. When in Rome, or should it be when among the Barbarians? Oh well....TIT
  5. Time to impound the motorbikes driving on sidewalks, and revoke their licenses, especially any motorcycle taxi drivers that are caught.
  6. No license, no helmet, no insurance, and driving in a foreign country.........I'd say the outcome is exactly what would be expected.
  7. I drove my daughter to school today, witnessed on just one 200 meter long street, 6 motorcycles driving the wrong way, and two driving the wrong way then using a Zebra crossing as a U-Turn. This is on top of multiple cars/motorcycles on the way there blowing through stop signs, with no intention of ever stopping, in fact they were speeding through the stop signs. Keep in mind these STOP signs are directly behind Zebra crossing, so these crossing are protected pedestrian crossings, not a single car other than myself stops at the STOP signs. They just laid down new tar on the canal road approaching the school, with well-marked solid lines before road junctions, motorcycles are all passing down the center median line right through the intersections between opposing traffic (you couldn't dream up a more dangerous maneuver). Then there is the people changing lanes in the local multi-lane roundabout, and crisscrossing lanes as they exit. My daughters school is a 2 km trip, if I were a cop I could write a 1000 tickets in that short distance, most of which would be "driving to endanger" tickets, its nuts!
  8. Enforcement! Enforcement! Enforcement! .....I mean do we have to scream it through a megaphone to get logic-based/common-sense thinking into the brains of Thai's?! Get police onto the streets enforcing laws/rules, no more sitting around the police station basking in the AC and twiddling on their smartphones all day.
  9. Again, no such thing, they are wild animals, and they shouldn't be exploited. These aren't cats and dogs, or hamsters, they are indeed wild animals no matter what you want to believe.
  10. No such thing, they are wild animals, period!
  11. I make it a habit to avoid wild animals, I especially stay far away from any that are larger than I am, and I have a overly healthy respect/fear of primates (monkeys/apes/chimps/etc). Knowing how chimps will attack someone when angry, I don't want to be within a mile of them.
  12. I think I saw the other day, that even the convicted heroin dealer is now worth almost a billion baht. It pays to be a criminal in Thailand, the more corrupt you are, the more worshipped you become, it's like fantasy land.
  13. He's nothing more thank a greedy politician, I hope he chokes on his money soon.
  14. This is like pissing on a forest fire, they need to rethink, or just think.
  15. Proper drivers training, a few minutes reading and understanding the operators manual for the motorcycle, there too the Thai Road traffic act, and just maybe stupid things like this wouldn't happen. Who am I kidding, TIT.
  16. Until they daily enforce Thai road laws and rules, nothing will get better, I have no confidence in Thailand ever correction this issue though. TIT
  17. A healthy level would be a Debt-to-GDP ratio of no more than 60%, but politicians love spending what isn't theirs, the addiction is alive and well. Thailand is floating around that number now, but it was dramatically lower in previous years.
  18. Keep up the good work Israel, ignore the naysayers.
  19. Or comprehension isn't your strongest suit.
  20. Extermination would work best, last thing we want is for these 4 to breed.
  21. Just another Thai slave laborer, dime a dozen for the Elite to exploit.
  22. Especially in Thailand, there doesn't seem to be any support for any type of self-defense, or good samaritans in Thai law.
