Trump leads Biden in 5 key battleground states: poll
Ben Zioner replied to Social Media's topic in World News
I feel sorry for the USA, and the world. We have entered what will become the worst period in our history since the fall of the Roman empire. -
You are correct, I don't know how low UK state pensions are, but I have calculated that people transferring the IO required minimum of 65000 a month would end up paying something like 3000 a month. That's about one beer less a day, quite healthy isn't? And considering that the price of a beer is mostly tax, the government won't get any richer either.

Getting used to live in a wheel chair

Exit "Le choix de Jean", a powerful documentary on this topic. You can use the english subtitle translations. -
Totally preposterous. The rich are the 1% who own 58% of the wealth of the country, those the RD should target through a hefty wealth tax, in order to finance a proper family allowance system.

Don't get it, does it mean that containers would be unloaded on one side and reloaded on the other. Sounds a bit like wanting to become Panama without getting a Frenchman to dig the Canal. And the Malaysian peninsula isn't South America. Or did I miss something? -
The islamic drain: "On 10 July 2020, the decision of the Council of Ministers to transform the Hagia Sophia into a museum was annulled by the Council of State, decreeing that Hagia Sophia cannot be used "for any other purpose" than being a mosque and that the Hagia Sophia was property of the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Han Foundation. Have you tried to keep the water for a few days in a bottle, and check if there is any deposit at the bottom after that?

A picnic compared to living with 15km of the Gaza strip. -
Rest assured, that within a few months the Thai Revenue Department will request all banks to record their customers' TINs. This is the most obvious first step to take to ensure that Foreign remittances get duly taxed, at least some of them in the form of bank transfers. Others, such as Cash, ATM withdrawals with foreign cards, CC payments, etc will be a bit more difficult to trace for a while. But I wouldn't play much beyond 2026.
