I would hesitate to assume too much so quickly. The usual pattern at the start of the rain season , regardless of it coming early , late, or in accordance with legends, it almost invariably has a false start. After a week or two with some promising rainfall there is usually a break of up to a month before rains come in earnest . If this does occur but with a decrease in the constant high temperatures experienced so far this year I for one will have no objections !

Such sentiments were also expressed during the Vietnam War protests . The only significant difference is the instantaneous social media distribution of imagery that when specifically targeted for impact provides an opportunity for focus on a specific distractional criticism of rather than the overall "cause" of the protests.

Do you have the victim mentality?

The G G persona has overstepped. Self victimized ? -
So close it ! Deny , defy any level of accusations of risk until such time remedial repairs are done. Would that be more acceptable to those who before this bridge was built found another path? Or notifications advising and informing people transit is at own risk at this time insufficient? Less so than equivalent signage advising caution crossing a railway line?

Exactly that ! The proponents of war have most interest in both providing the means to conquer and also participate in at least a share of the spoils of victory. In that respect given the history of US support in conflict in not only but certainly in the "middle East" the aspect of humanity has always been secondary to profitable advantage. Proper considerations of the many and complex issues that are currently very relevant to the Middle East by way of the "Gaza War" and the deliberate suppression of genuine political argument dismissed as religious extremism or fanatical delusion is buried by a bought and paid for media owned by corporate entities that are permitted to offer an alternative distraction from truth such as ? Facebook etc ! The old but accurate of the donkey and carrot is more than ever relevant ! The only question remaining is which is donkey and which is a vegetable?

It is NOT a complicated task but if being installed in the daytime at this time there is no way I would contemplate occupying a roof space for anything !

Heat effecting aluminium sliding doors - solution?
0ffshore360 replied to Kinnock's topic in DIY Forum
Be aware that all four corners of a sliding door will have adjusters to level and align the door against the jamb. If it need be to create clearance at the top then first adjust down at the bottom but in small increments. -
I would question the idea of 6" in walls vs 3" in ceiling ! Unless you have wall cavities that will hold 6" materials without compressing ? Apart from sun exposure that moves throughout a day the walls are more subject to whatever heat is present atmospherically as in air temp. Your ceiling space is subject to absorbed heat from all sources. Logically the installation of the highest insulation factor material belongs there.

British Tourist Warned Over Criticism of Thailand Online
0ffshore360 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
The original concept of "auditor" with the intent to focus on proper conduct by public "officials" in their application of assumed authority in exercising duties has indeed increasingly being questionably deligitimised . Creating confrontation simply to generate a response to the satisfaction of the "auditor" is tediously immature, unproductive and without any recognizable merit at all Sam. -

It has been my lifelong understanding that Oriental in a vague exclusive form applies to the populations of the Asian continent of direct Chinese racial origin as opposed to the more generalized distinct race populations of East/South East Asia. In that regard the people of Mongolia, Tibet and greater China are oriental. The mountains of the Himalayas create a divide which denotes Asian denotation to Nepalese, Indians etc and thus South East East Asian by geographical location to the majority of the "list". There does exist a point of confusion when it comes to such as the archipelago nation of Indonesia in particular. In racial terms established by dna measures would suggest the eastward islands of Indonesia are originally historically populated by Melanesian/Papuan races who are racially not Asian except by terms of Nationality as are now. In recent times there have been declarations by Chinese racial exponents that the "original" Chinese have no dna markers in any other race. An arrogant xenophobic claim?

You are quite right and I humbly withdraw my facetious poor effort . Apart from major reservations about the CCP I have no real criticisms over things China. Traditionally and historically the Orientals have demonstrated both art and ingenuity on a scale of complexity still being rediscovered.

Israel is at War - General discussion (pt3)
0ffshore360 replied to Social Media's topic in The War in Israel
Whereas the Hamas authorities mainly responsible are absent from immediate threat in Gaza the rhetoric from Netanyahu and close allies negates any trust in promises made by the Israeli authorities. The original ultimatum to avert total destruction of Gaza was to release all captives. A proposal guaranteed to eventuate in Gaza oblivion. The latest offering does seem more rational as a step toward resolution except that the focus remains soley on Gaza and Hamas operatives while ignoring the more insidious progression of illegal appropriation in the occupied territories. Releasing "thousands" of illegally detained Palestinians only to see them or others similarly detained without charge yet again is a sop to the issue. v -
Confirmation of my personal opinion and as a recipient of the AZ vaccine thankful not to have been a lab rat for mRNA . Yes I and my wife got covid despite two shots but very mildly. And since and currently surrounded by the new wave of mild infections supposedly attributed to covid post Songkran travels.\Perhaps inexplicably the many recipients of the locals who were only given the Chinese vaccine have experienced similar outcome. Not so a male partner of extended family who recieved mRNA in Bangkok and is now progressively wasting away with no medical explanation provided to him .
