  1. The right of return is about Jews. There is no requirement to be a religious Jew but being active in another religion would generally disqualify. Having a Jewish mother is a strong factor in a return application. But you need to prove stuff which can be hard for secular Jews. Non Jewc can apply based on other programs such as special skills.
  2. It's not instant and in a case like yours my understanding is that it would ilkely be veey difficult though I don't know the policies on one grandmother Even in more obvious cases there is a formal process involved. If you're practicing another religion I think you're ineligible. You obviously aren't serious but if you are seek expert advice.
  3. I hope you're joking. That's too much mercury and also canned tuna is not as a good a source as the fish mentioned. Canned pink salmon is a very good source though expensive. Pink not red. I do eat about 2 cans of tuna a week though. To add omega 3 is also beneficial for brain health and is anti inflammatory.
  4. Yeah I thought of the home branch issue. That's harsh if your original home branch was in a far away city! I overheard some issue with how they wanted to receive the money though I obviously don't know the details. The couple left the place in a frustrated huff and understandably so. It's their money and they likely waited well over an hour to be told no.
  5. My understanding is that there is very credible research showing that getting enough Omega 3 fatty acids is helpful in prevention of cardiac events. So how to do that in Thailand as there are challenges and opportunities specific to living here? Well, you could take fish oil supplements. But watch out as a lot of those supplements are low quality and rancid and make you smell fishy as if f-rangs in Thailand aren't fishy enough without special help. So you could easily do much more harm than good with such supplements. I used to do that but I became skeptical of the products here. Of course you could pay a premium trying to buy possibly better, safer brands but I never bothered. Then there is nutrition that is not fish. You could look up the various options with that. I've focused on walnuts. However, you're not going to get enough of Omega 3 of all the desired types without some fish source. Also, although walnuts are good, do you really want to take the calories in eating a large portion of them daily? If vegetarian, there are algae supplements. I think they are good but still not including all the elements found in fish. Also expensive. So for most people, it really does come down to fish sources. There is salmon. Yummy but expensive and I don't think smoked salmon counts. Sardines. I find the canned sardines from Asean disgusting. But recently I had a can of Norwegian sardines flavored with hot chili that was very delicious. Portuguese sourced might be similarly tasty but not sure. Two of those cans a week at about 100 baht per can gives the minimum recommended Omega 3s for the week. So you can take care of this with sardines alone and add some non fish sources for good measure. But then there is mackerel. Widely available fresh in Thai and Japanese food restaurants in Thailand and also delicious. So to keep things more interesting, use salmon, sardines, and abundant in Thailand mackerel in any combination you like on a weekly basis. Sorted.
  6. I support Israel. Why would anyone condemn any nation? It's absurd. I support North Korea too. Ask better more logical questions. Such as do you condemn how the Israeli government carried out its war with Hamas.
  7. If a civilization doesn't stand up for its values even if there is a high cost. you lose that civilization.
  8. Absolutely. It's tragic for anyone that really cares about the USA.
  9. OK, finally an update on this. I needed to get Kbank and Bangkok Bank on my new phone. I decided I wanted to avoid going into branches if possible. So I switched the SIM card to new phone. For a few days I was able to use the Kbank app on the old phone without a SIM card in it but wasn't prompted to activate the app on the new phone. Eventually their system impressively detected what was going on and blocked me from using the app on the old phone, and then the app on the new phone prompted me for normal ID verification including sending a code. Done rather painlessly. For Bangkok Bank, not so much. They had no problem with me using the app on the old phone without a SIM card for quite a long time. I did try to login on the new phone, but the language was about a totally new account, and when I entered my info, it said account doesn't exist with that ID -- go to branch. So of course I did (painful long wait as expected) and was told the problem was about my recent new passport which was already in their system (so why a problem?). Even though I had done a photo scan input before while on the old passport, I was told I must do a new one as I had a new phone as I have a new passport. So they did that at the bank after about ten fails. Egads. All well and good, but I don't understand why they didn't do the new photo scan as part of the process to update my passport in the first place. Oh well.
  10. Obvious to Kremlin propagandists for sure.
  11. Most likely you can easily fix this by going to a branch and ask for online shopping permission activation. I did that recently with my Kasikorn debit card and I was even able to use it for international shopping.
  12. Only somewhat related, but I was in a Bangkok Bank branch yesterday and I witnessed a couple TRY to close their account, and they weren't allowed to. Yeah I understand there may be good reasons for that depending on the details, but I found it kind of funny. Here they are freezing and closing so many accounts and yet this couple wasn't allowed to do an account suicide.
  13. It appears he is very stingy in spending his precious brain cells while posting.
  14. I don't believe for one second that you don't know what that Jew was actually doing. You're obsession to trash Jews is beyond the pale.
  15. I'm curious about the very odd hairstyle with the big orange patch at the rear. What's that all about? Is he some sort of aging Tel Aviv hipster? Covering up a medical condition of the scalp? Just mentally unstable (based on his behavior, points for that)? Or perhaps he's among the majority of Israelis who support Trump (and now celebrating the cease fire) and the orange top is a tribute?
  16. We don't really know if there is or there isn't Kompromat on Mr. Trump but we do know for sure his behavior towards Putin is spectacularly bizarre. My opinion is that it's not Kompramat. I think Trump sincerely loves and admires Putin as a man and as a murderous dictator. His top role model as it were. Also there is a long history of shady deals between the Trump organization and Russian oligarchs. Trump is very motivated by money. He is the most corrupt president in American history and it isn't even close. It's never been America first for him. It's always Trump first. While he's too old now to enjoy the additional billions / trillions that Russia is clearly tempting him with for very long, he also cares about a legacy for his family.
  17. DNA testing is NOT illegal in Israel but that's another one of the false vile Jew hating tropes often broadcast online.
  18. Such total idiocy with obvious corrupt motives about business "deals" with Russia. The way to end that war sooner is to arm Ukraine to the teeth and FORCE Russia to the peace table. There is no other way.
  19. Another of so many examples of how random news about crimes by Israeli nationals in Thailand are used to promote ignorance about and hatred of Jews. Somehow this is supposed to be OK.
  20. No it isn't. You used that term incorrectly.
  21. You can't argue logic to the irrationally obsessed.
  22. Based on his heritage? WTF? So you're saying all Jewish people are incapable of acknowledging mistakes and adjusting to that? What kind of racist caca are you pushing?
