I'd like to see an objective report about the assertion though it wouldn't surprise me. I do think the crowds were on the older side. I also think it would be helpful if future pro democracy, pro rule of law, pro constitution, anti one man strong man rule crowds become more diverse. It seems to me that's possible. People may wonder about the reasons but the first thing that came to my mind is that older white Americans would probably have been better exposed to CIVICS classes in school. Israel by necessity has compulsory national service for most young people, men and women. As in any country, there are exemption options of course. Depending on obvious factors service might be active military and might be back office type stuff.
