If the proposed Arc turns out to be actually a monument to Trump of course I would oppose it. Certainly that would be outrageous for a living president to do such a thing. However, the information that I have so far is that the idea of an Arc in the exact proposed location has been seriously suggested for over 100 years. I would have no problem with Trump taking credit as the president who actually built a worthy addition to the grand DC architecture. It would be pleasant for residents and helpful with tourism as well.

I think that name is just a joke nickname. My current understanding is that this proposed project would be a good addition to the DC architecture and placed perfectly. I'm in favor of it. Unlike the white house ballroom which is horrible.
