  1. Or maybe my houseguest is a preggers moth mommy.
  2. If it's really a moth, that definitely doesn't sound so bad. I recall something similar many years ago and luckily it was on the floor of my shower. So I drowned it. But it took about 10 flippin' minutes! Like a horror movie it wouldn't quit. I really felt like I had murdered something after that. That's why I don't think something basic like a swat with a magazine will kill it and I'm skeptical about spraying it as well. I need more fire power but I forgot to pack my AK47.
  3. Yes as I said I will try that but it needs to be in a good position to do that.
  4. When it's flying and attacking it appears much larger.
  5. It's got to go. No room for both of us. What is it? Will it bite? Is it poisonous? A giant roach or beetle? Could it be a bat? So days ago I opened a screen door and this monster flew n! High floor Condo. Perhaps attracted to light or warmth compared to outside. First action was to try to encourage it to exit the same place it entered with a cheeky broom. It was not having it! It spread it's wingspan very wide and seemed to be attacking me back. So that won't work. Leaving the screen open doesn't work as it likes being inside. So day and night it mostly just sits in one place but sometimes moves to a new place. Sometimes it's very visible as it's massive and other times its hidden. So far I've been able to block it out of my bedroom. As it's so big and so aggressive if bothered I'm not sure what to do. I don't think swatting it with a magazine will work. If it positions in a way where I can trap it in a large plastic container I'll probably try that but expect it to detect the danger so not confident that will work. Perhaos spray it with something that will cripple it's wings? Soap? Something else?

  7. Does it make "you" feel warm and fuzzy to foment hatred and ignorance?
  8. Oh stop! There is an on record interview audio tape of him saying that. It was widely released.
  9. Annuities in general are quite complicated and there are a lot of options. I had incorrectly thought until now that you couldn't use funds in your IRA (trad or Roth) to buy annuities, but it turns out you can! There are different reasons people want annuities held in or out of IRAs and there are different types of annuities, and specific rules for holding in IRAs. I'm just learning about such matters myself. For me, an annuity might be attractive now as: -- a way to diversify my IRA which is now 100 percent equities as I think there will be a Trump crash once his policies (tariffs, mass deportations) kick in. I also don't believe he will bring peace to the world. More likely the opposite from China. -- The money in an annuity brings a fixed income for either defined fixed terms or life without the risk of equities but with the risk of the soundness of the annuity. -- Annual payments from annuities (which may be deferred with some types of annuities) are taxable income. -- Annuity contracts have legacy options, such as do you want the annuity to continue to pay out to beneficiaries or not. If not the payout amount can be based on life expectancy, for example buy it when older and get a higher payment. -- HOWEVER, the money you take to buy an annuity out of your IRA reduces the value of the IRA in terms of the RMD (required minimum withdrawal at about age 72-3). -- So for example if you have 500K in your IRA and you buy a 200K annuity the RMD will be based on 300K, not 500K -- There are age rules for buying annuities in IRAs -- Overall if you do want an annuity and your money is in an IRA, it's great to be able to buy from the IRA, as otherwise you would be forced to withdraw the amount of the annuity purchase from your IRA, a taxable event, so that would be crazy. I'm just scratching the surface here. I've never hired a financial advisor but this might be an area where that is worth doing (if you know you're getting a good one). The main reason I'm posting this is that I assume as I didn't know, there must be others who didn't know that you CAN buy annuities within IRAs.
  10. Putin says similar about the Russians who have left thought in reality the total opposite is true in both cases.
  11. Trump born with gold spoon in his mouth and went to Wharton Business School at Penn. Of course a professor of his did say he was the dumbest student he ever had.
  12. It matters to know what a totally corrupt unprincipled sleazeball he is. Like Vance.
  13. The world lost. Don't bother with the obnoxious unsoliticed personal advice.
  14. Calling him a fascist which he is not the same as calling him a Nazi. Only morons fail to understand that. Don't bother trying to bully me. That's obnoxious.
  15. He didn't admit he was wrong.
  16. Perfect response to speaker Johnson's idiocy.
  17. The punching down toxicity is stunning.
  18. Did it excite you to use that slur and contribute to the right wing demonization of trans people? Very brave!
  19. I never called him a Nazi even though he has invited Nazis to dinner.
  20. Hear him speak it and a lot more.
  21. He will be the president January 20. Nothing about me
