  1. So to you having a president who openly displays his TOTAL INSANITY is some kind of master move. Bizarre.
  2. Not even close. STOP LYING. Also Ukraine has stated they are now interested in purchasing especially defensive weapons systems from the US and so far Putin lover Trump has said NO.
  3. No gaslighting, buddy. This is what your dear leader posted himself on his own social media site. You do see how totally INSANE that is, right?
  4. That's totally bizarre to have a noon cutoff like that. Anyway good luck.
  5. I used DHL from Jomtien to Bangkok. But it cost 800 baht.
  6. I was thinking more in terms of things like mandatory voting and ending the use of pennies.
  7. We can opt in at age 62 but at severely reduced benefit levels. Thanks for telling us that Australia does means test retirement funds there. Very interesting. 300K is really not that much. I'm surprised the cut off point is that low. I suppose lots of people anywhere near that simply spend it down to be eligible, don't they? I have always thought that Australia has a lot of government policies that make a lot of common sense, such as mandatory voting.
  8. No social security for you! You're too rich! Don't be such a piggy! Prof G supports ending Social Security for 10-30% https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/retirement/prof-g-says-10-to-30-of-americans-who-collect-social-security-don-t-need-it-claims-us-seniors-are-richest-generation-in-history-get-1-2t-year-from-struggling-young-people-is-he-right/ar-AA1FrLqu?ocid=msedgntp&pc=U531&cvid=b80b125c4b134869a985a5a1e79f5687&ei=22 Certainly SOMETHING significant does need to be done and perhaps this idea is the best answer, but boy oh boy, it would be political dynamite to try to actually pass this. I have mixed feelings about this for selfish reasons. If they do this, who decides where the cut off point is? I doubt I would ever be judged "too wealthy" to be entitled to SS benefits, but you never know. But then again certainly Jeff Bezos does NOT need a SS check!
  9. Yes and no. Trump is grifting for his own and his families wealth and a set of crony billionaire oligarchs. I don't think he even thinks of himself as America's CEO. He remains head of the Trump mafia style organization but now with the most power behind that on earth. He works AGAINST the vast majority of Americans interest INCLUDING his pathetically deluded cult members. Actively and aggressively. In Trumpian speak -- nobody has ever seen this level of CORRUPTION in the American presidency before.
  10. Great reply but keep in mind you were replying to an avowed Z Putin advocate.
  11. It doesn't have a national health. It comes different ways if it comes at all. As you said private insurance paid by employers. Private insurance paid directly by consumers currently partly subsidized based on income (ACA). Full retail price unaffordable for most. Medicaid. Government program for the poorest making under the minimum required to be eligible for ACA subsidized private insurance Medicare Government program for over age 65 but people must pay extra for vital parts of it. Medicare Advantage Medicare but run by private insurers an option for over age 65 Hospitals will treat emergency cases of the uninsured but kick out once stabilized
  12. You're not posting in good faith. You're just throwing half baked pest jabber at the wall because criticism of Trump obviously personally offends you. Dude, there isn't one sentient person on the planet who thinks Trump controls Putin. That was the last straw for me. You are free of course to continue with your silly pest noise but you won't be hearing from me about it. Happy trails amigo.
  13. Trump.wants to be friends with murderous dictators and makes enemies of long term close allies. You can't sane wash that buster.
  14. There is real estate and there is real estate. Contrary to popular belief, real estate is not always a good investment. It can indeed be financially ruinous. Case in point -- Florida Condos. Before moving to Thailand, I took a serious condo shopping trip to Ft. Lauderdale. This was decades back and even then I found the pricing on them kind of insane. But that was the tip of the iceberg compared to now. Sales price reasonable, but HOA fees outrageously high and imbalanced relative to sales price. In some cases even back then really weird, like a giveaway price of 60K but 800 a month HOA. At the time this was before the Florida condo insurance crisis caused by the big building collapse. So add HOA fee insanity to the insurance crisis plus ruinous special assessments and you're talking just walking away from the so called home you thought you owned. So overall something seemed wrong and it just didn't feel right. Especially for high rises condos there. There was one gated community rather far inland that was all single story attached units where the pricing to HOA fees were sane. I think I recall 175K sale and 300 HOA fairly normal. I came close to buying that. Not sure if that particular places would have turned out OK or not as not really any issue of building collapse there.
  15. Our mentally stable president's Memorial Day truth rant. When we're supposed to honor our fallen veterans throughout history (in a respectful and dignified manner). If this was your relative, wouldn't you be seeking professional help for them? 'This is a disgrace': Trump ripped for 'outrageous' and 'divisive' Memorial Day diatribe
  16. Trump being Trump yet again. Putin's poodle FOREVER. When it comes to actual ACTION against the object of his bizarro world affection murderous dictator Vladimir, he is truly all maga hat and no cattle. Disgusting. CNN abruptly stopped for breaking news as Donald Trump explodes at reporter over Ukraine question
  17. I think he lives in a yes man bubble. Turns out it wasn't so smart to invade Ukraine in 2022. It was supposed to take a few days. Now years later. That is NOT winning. Anyway he's definitely much more intelligent than Trump, his poodle.
  18. Don't forget China. They haven't.
  19. It's too big. It could split up.
  20. Tell that to the corrupt spineless republicans in congress who are the ones who actualy have the power to stop him now.
