Back to the pageant. They allowed a transgender woman to enter. She happened to win Unless you watched the contest which was presumably in Dutch you have no basis to label her win as biased. The pageant could have just as easily not allowed her. Believe it or not I would have no problem with that. Transgender pageants exist. I dislike people insulting the winner. She was allowed to enter, she won -- the thing decent people do is to congratulate her as any other winner.

Gender is not binary. https://cadehildreth.com/gender-spectrum/ The gender spectrum is an understanding that gender is not binary, but rather a spectrum of biological, mental and emotional traits that exist along a continuum. In contrast, the gender binary—also called gender binarism or genderism—is a belief that gender is composed of two distinct and opposite genders (women/men) in which there is not overlap. Unfortunately for those who believe in a gender binary, it is not scientifically or medically correct. Gender can’t be binary, because it is a personal identity and is socially constructed.

What Movies or TV shows are you watching (2023)
Jingthing replied to CharlieH's topic in Entertainment
Hablame de ti A Mexican movie which shows a unique mixture of a gay coming out and messed up families sharing a lying Dad. It evokes very conflicting emotions probably the majority negative so it kind of represents real life A very unusual use of the American pie song. Mild recommendation. -

I only got one recently. I hadn't needed one before. Now I do. If you're OK without one yeah don't bother. -

Oh, forgot to mention that Proton offers a well reviewed FREE version and it's really free, not a trial period thing. But it doesn't support torrents. -

I stumbled into Proton which is Swiss which is European but of course Switzerland is famous for security. It's not cheap. Massive number of servers and you can pick ones that are optimized for torrents which I like a lot and I need with my rather slow torrent blocking Sim card in router. What I don't like is that you can't pick specific locations in the U.S. Say you want to login from the LA area. Well you can't unless you randomly connect to a bunch of IPs until you hit one that's there.
