  1. Of course but it's really pathetic how many westerners have been thoroughly brainwashed by Kremlin propaganda. Russia doesn't make good cars but damn they are master at propaganda!
  2. Russia would be much better served denazifying itself. Start with Putin.
  3. You're way too optimistic. America and how it's perceived globally are PERMANENTLY damaged already. Four years of this is unthinkable. Depending on if and when this vile MAGA movement is vomited out there will be a much different starting point and returning to what was impossible. Will there even be real midterms? Too early to say.
  4. Your just repeating Trump lies about the European help. Shame on you. As far as long cutoffs you're ignorance is STUNNING. The republican house cut off aid to Ukraine for EIGHT MONTHS! Why are you even posting on this topic with such a weak knowledge base?
  5. So where we're at now. Ukraine is rejecting Trump's surrender ultimatum. Trump says take the "deal" or you'll lose your entire country later. Well, that depends on whether Europe will step up now adequately or not. It will be very hard for them to do so but it's not impossible.
  6. INCORRECT. Trump pushed Ukraine out of it. Putin would only talk to the U.S. anyway.
  7. It was a flawed democracy but now it's an autocracy. The former is much better.
  8. Negotiations between Russia and Ukraine didn't actually happen.
  9. He's well on the way to building statues of himself. The U.S. is already an autocracy.
  10. This is crap. Trump is giving an ultimatum now. It includes forcing Ukraine to recognize Crimea as Russia. Ukraine can't do that. That is NOT a negotiation!
  11. The support was granted. Trump demanding repayment of a country fighting for it's life is outrageous. Unfortunately, under Biden and Trump there was never enough support to actually give Ukraine a chance to win. Only enough to hold on. But at least Biden didn't do long cut offs and make things even worse.
  12. Zelinsky said he wants to surrender? No. Never. Zelinsky said he was willing to recognize Crimea as Russian. No. Never. As far as questioning Trump's ties with Russia, are you serious?!? 13. Again, as a generality the restaurant business does run on thin margins. I'm sure there are many exceptions of businesses that have structured themselves to have pricing power to be able to rake in obscene profits but objectively if you look into this they are not anywhere near the majority.
  14. Zelinsky wants to end the war. He does not want to SURRENDER. Yes Putin poodle Trump is fixing to cut off Ukraine so he can bask in his weird "friendship", cut corrupt deals with Russian oligarchs, and get a Trump Tower in Moscow. Trump won't even SELL arms to Ukraine. Decent Americans are very disgusted that this turncoat president is betraying Ukraine so dramatically. The majority still do support continued support for Ukraine, but sadly it's not a big enough priority to influence Trump not to do this big big dirty.
  15. Yes the current prices before tariffs are already outrageous. I have no idea what your point is with this. Saying 18 dollars is completely meaningless unless you know the cost details for that particular business. Also the issue with imported spice tariffs is not only business viability, but quality level offered to the customers. Some dishes totally cut, others made more bland.
  16. Yes, the MODERN Forward is well known for it's affinity with liberal American Jews. The majority of American Jews consistently vote democratic. Described in this link as center-left which works for me as I love the Forward and I'm center left. The Forward - Bias and Credibility - Media Bias/Fact Check www.mediabiasfactcheck.com/the-forward/
  17. That and porn as well. We're doomed but satisfied.
  18. Girlfriend experience?
  19. It really depends on the specific restaurant. One of my favorite nearby Thai restaurants has the exact same prices for eat in and Grab so with free delivery and 20 percent off delivery is cheaper.
  20. Yeah I totally believe that in a work context. Compared to before AI, it seems like super human powers. But how are you using it outside the work context?
  21. Another memory. Going out to buy my first Texas Instruments calculator. It was expensive! Lots of debate about whether students should be allowed to use them in class.
  22. That's interesting. That makes me think that I actually used to use a typewriter and if I had some research to do I needed to drive to a library and look at microfiche files manually on a viewer. For a major paper, that might mean several drives to the library. I think at some point people just say I've had enough technological change. I've seen that happen to some older people with smart phones for sure. But not adapting they're hurting themselves. I remember teaching older people how to use America Online.
  23. I'm not talking about looking at AI summaries on "google" type searches. I mean actually actively using it as tool to the point where it's making a difference in your life. Getting older, I was perhaps a tad slow getting into using a smart phone than a kid would be, but of course it's more or less a necessity of modern survival these days. But I'm feeling resistant to AI and it causes some anxiety like I'm falling behind. I won't need it for work as I'm not working. If I was I would have gotten into it already. But I feel a kind of bias against it. Like its better than us and going to make humans obsolete. I remember struggling to learn basic computer programming which was very hard for me and now realizing AI would "laugh" at that level. On the other hand I do realize it's inevitable and there are benefits to using it. Not looking for a guide on how to get started in AI. That's easily available. This topic is more about how people who have not embraced it yet (and maybe never will) are FEELING about such an obviously massively transformative technology.
