I don't think Thai immigration law is even remotely relevant to U.S. immigration laws. They are in totally different situations. Thailand is like or not a kind of ethno state where the national identity is dominated by Tai people and Chinese background people. Becoming a diverse society, nation of immigrants, like the USA and Canada is of no interest to Thailand. The USA on the other hand would be an aging country like Japan without a constant flow of younger immigrants bringing innovation, hard work (often slave like labor), optimism, and energy to constantly renew America. That's the ideal. The regressive republicans are trying to kill that magic, the real secret of America's success in history.

Border states are overburdened but the solution to that is not cynical stunts to play on Fox News as red meat for the republican xenophobes. The solution is comprehensive immigration reform. Something the democrats have been interested in doing for decades. But the republicans only want a political issue. God forbid they would actually work to actually solve big problems with practical solutions.

So now because of his Twitter folly, a buyer of a Tesla car is representing Musk's bizarrely toxic and divisive right wing politics. That will be a feature for many but a no go for probably many more. It's not as if his brand is a monopoly. Musk is a genius on some things, a self destructive moron on others. Oh well!

It's well known that it's very common for people to eat the entire pint in one sitting. Especially single people on dateless Saturday nights. When it's a chocolate flavor it's like love in a spoon. Netflix and chill with your Ben and Jerry's pint. I won't tell. It would be interesting to do a research study to know what percentage of pints are eaten that way. That's obviously unhealthy. Nobody would debate that. But you have to look at the frequency and other factors.

You don't say? You think Ben and Jerry don't know they're stuff is sold abroad? Maybe there's an Asia factory? They have one in Netherlands for Europe.

I had a Chick milk shake which was very good. They're famous for their chicken sandwiches but I haven't tried. I have also have had better ice cream than Ben and Jerry's at artisan shops. Ben and Jerry's style is a particular experience that is very popular and definitely better than Bud's. If you crave Ben and Jerry's only their brand will do it. I remember when Häagen-Dazs was the <deleted> before Ben and Jerry's hit the scene. It's also high butterfat but I don't crave that brand.

Interesting. I wouldn't want to move back there even if I won the lottery because I don’t like the change to being a city best for the rich and homeless. That's a loss of soul. Too many homeless is nothing new in San Francisco because of the weather and also helping programs. My politics haven't changed much since my teen years but I do recall a widespread feeling in San Francisco that San Francisco is a small place and not everyone that wants to live there can live there and that's not horrible. While I was there before insane rents I lived in very substandard cheapest housing so just above homeless. It was worth it to me to live like that to be in SF. Until one day it wasn't anymore and I moved.

BTW a US pint is 473 ml or 16 fluid ounces. The b and j pints in Thailand are indeed that size but other countries define the size of a pint differently.
