Water under the bridge. The fight now and it's going to be very hard is to try to prevent the autocratic Trump regime from controlling elections to the point where U.S. elections are for show only as in Russia.

This is so STUPID. He wasn't deported. He was disappeared to a CONCENTRATION CAMP funded by U.S. taxpayers without due process and in violation of a standing order not to remove him. You say you're not hateful yet you condone this total evil. Learn from history but I know you won't. If the Trump regime can do this to him he can do this to anyone including U.S. citizens who are his political opponents.

My prediction sadly gels with the opinion posted in the video above about The Crisis Is Now. The Trump regime will not allow him to ever get out. He's in a concentration camp where there is no out. The Salvadorian dictator has said the only way out is death. There is torture there obviously. If he's let out, he then speaks and the Trump regime can't have that. If he isn't dead already, they're going to murder him first before any chance of release. I hope I am wrong.

It would take one phone call by Trump to Bukele to get him released. It's all on Trump. He is defying the supreme court. The transition to a US dictatorship is happening rapidly. This is fascism theater. Boiling the frogs so that the American people accept more and more civil rights violations. We're already at the point where foreign tourists are being advised to bring burner phones and soon returning US citizens will be in the same boat.

Who needs a real Manchurian candidate when you elect someone as massively stupid as Trump that he may as well be?

Not going to link it but I came to my conclusion based on one opinion from a lawyer and also the fact that neither agents or customers have been charged with a crime just for doing the thing that so many are happy to pay for. Agents have been charged for things like using fake stamps which obviously is a crime. But if the "process" gets the customer a real stamp, then there it is. Of course there can be inconveniences and surprising negative consequences if using these services but being charged with a crime just for using an agent isn't one of them. This is one of those "you're not in Kansas anymore" type things. Living here requires an adjustment of perspective.

About the question of the legality of paying agents to avoid meeting financial requirements for immigration matters, after many years I have come to the conclusion that though it may subjectively be viewed as unethical or corrupt by many. it is indeed QUASI-legal. which basically translates to legal. Personally, I'm not comfortable going that route, but I'm not in a position to judge those that do.

Oh geez man where did I ever suggest moving anywhere without boots on the ground?!? I'm suggesting worth checking out for many. The advantages of the Colombia retirement visa offer are dramatic over Thailand and Spain. Much lower financial requirements. Can buy real estate without onerous foreigner penalties. 5 year path to perm residence or citizenship. Instant entry into a world class rated health care system for a very low cost and covering all conditions. As said based on my research I think Armenia Colombia might be a particularly attractive choice as far as balance of lower cost and amenities. But obviously different people have different personal tastes and priorities. For a detailed view of Armenia there is the Gran Colombia channel sample posted previously with hundreds of videos. He does a weekly live Q and A called Coffee Time. A positive first impression from an expat who was living in Manizales at the time and previously Medellin.

I wasn’t taught that they weren't part of Asia either. It was referred to as the Indian subcontinent instead of South Asia. Just a different emphasis.
