Not personally impacted. I would have been happy for him to stay as Pope for much longer. He was my favorite Pope in my lifetime. I'll be curious to watch the traditional pick a Pope ritual they will go through but have low expectations that the new guy will be an improvement.

Again he was not deported. He disappeared to an offshore concentration camp. For what exactly? Entering illegally at age 16 to save his life?
