This ain't rocket science. Regardless of opinions Biden is the incumbent and is running. On the anti democracy party side Trump will probably be nominated. Then Biden is reelected. If by some miracle the Trumpist party puts up anyone other than Trump, then Biden probably loses. It's a reasonably good bet for the democrats to keep going with Joe.

Sununu will be running as republican to challenge Trump. It's not fair to judge him only on the Maher interview. He has a decades long history and very visible because he's from New Hampshire (first primary). He came off much better on his recent interview on the Circus. The thing about Sununu is that more moderate Americans won't be afraid of him like they are of Trump so he could easily beat Biden. A lot of the turnout when Trump is running is about stopping Trump. Tester who I never heard of before is a democrat. As Biden is running, I can't see someone like Tester running.

This is academic. You can't open new US accounts in general without a valid state ID. If you have a valid state ID you can use it to open an SDFU account as well. But it's one option for people that need a US account but don't have a valid state ID.
