It was known guard units could be deployed but he had no knowledge that his specific unit was going to be deployed. 24 years service before deciding to try to be a congressman sounds like it was more than enough. It would have been a lucky break for Trump for that debate to have never happened. Then it would be too late to replace Biden. That's your truth in politics, dude.

Harris should definitely not agree to the Trump-Fox circus proposal. Let Trump stew until after convention when the Harris lead should grow to levels that make Trump realize he will lose and then IF a neutral site and rules setting is something Trump actually wants (I don't believe that he wants to ever face her, but if losing, then he might) then I think that Harris should agree even though it gives Trump a chance he doesn't deserve.

Russia invaded Ukraine. Russia's intention is to erase Ukraine. Russia does not recognize Ukraine as sovereign nation, language, people, or culture. Ukraine is fighting for it's existence. Years after war criminal dictator Putin invaded (which actually started in 2014) Ukraine is successfully resisting and still very much exists. You call that losing?
