USA Elon Musk Launches New Political Force: The America Party
WDSmart replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Yes! I've always said the difference between right-wing capitalists and left-wing socialists is just the first letter of a two-letter word. Right-wing capitalists are, as you say above, "ME ME ME!" Left-wing socialists are "WE WE WE!" -
Assuming you now have good health, whether or not you should buy health insurance depends on your age. If you're middle-aged (in your 40s), the premiums might not be so high. But if you're older (above 60), the premiums are very expensive. I've lived in Thailand for over 20 years and have gone to both private and public hospitals. I have found the public hospitals very good, but they often require you to spend the whole day there just to see a doctor. But their fees for us, non-Thais, are very low, I'd estimate only 10% of what a private hospital charges. I'm 79 now and don't have any health insurance, but feel confident that if/when I need medical attention, a public hospital will be able to provide me the care I need.

I retired to Thailand 22 years ago, when I was 64, and a year later, I married a Thai woman who was twenty years younger than me. We built a house on her land in a rural area of northeast Thailand in Phetchabun Province and have lived there ever since. In fact, we just celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary. In the mountains of northeast Thailand, many Thai men have younger wives, and some even have multiple wives. There is no problem with a man marrying a woman who is younger than him.

USA Elon Musk Launches New Political Force: The America Party
WDSmart replied to Social Media's topic in World News
I detest Elon Musk almost as much as I detest Trump, but as a US citizen, I hope his American Party is successful enough to draw enough people away from the Republican Party for the Democrats to once again take control of all three branches of government.- 25 replies

What sparked this discussion on the forum was my original post, which answered the question in the title by saying, yes, Didy's supporters will continue to support him, no matter what he did, in fact, because of what he did. I then compared that to Trump supporters, and the replies just took off from there. I won't do that again on this thread. I am a US citizen, but I can sympathize with those who do not want to always hear about the political turmoil in the USA. Again, I apologize...

Again, I say I just don't understand why you would say such a thing, especially the last part. Our country is being taken apart piece by piece and sold to the highest bidders. Yes, the truth is there for everyone to see. I admit I don't now live in the USA and haven't for over 20 years, but it's obvious to me that Trump is tearing our country apart. I see that every day on CNN, on Facebook, and on these forums. I can't believe you don't see that also.

Trump was elected by people who were conned into believing our country was broken and that Trump would fix it. Neither was true; both were lies. I'm sorry you and so many others believed him; I don't know why you did. It's so obvious he's a lying sycophant. He has frequently disregarded the Constitution in his actions as president. Examples are his handling of undocumented immigrants without giving them due process, and the other is his bombing of Iran without first consulting Congress.

Yes! Yes! Yes! ❤️ But there are many more reasons than you list. 😡

Thanks, but that doesn't work for me. Do you just put your mouse arrow anywhere on the link, or do you have to select the entire link first? Neither way worked for me on your link. I'll try one here... Live updates: Diddy denied bail after acquittal on most serious charges - BBC News But the one above shows the title of the link, not the https link itself.

It is my understanding, and the way I extend my stay in Thailand with a retirement visa, that the THB 65K/month must be deposited into a Thai bank account, not an account in another country. I transfer at least THB 65K each month from my USA account into my Thai bank (Krungsri) account. When go to I apply for another one-year extension, Krungsri prints out my statements for the last 12 months (along with a letter from the bank), which I then submit to immigration. No problem...

Of course, Diddy can "reclaim his throne." He was put on that throne by people who revel in what he did, specifically the "freak outs." This is much like Trump being elected by people who revel in what he does, including all the lies, threats, and flaunting of his ignoring any rules, like those in the Constitution.

1. If common sense and practicality are used, that would be a first! I do like your suggestion that testing only be done if a competitor (or coach?) challenges an athlete. Testing for a Y chromosome would be the likely test. That would mean a lack of one would be a "woman," and the presence of one would be a "man" - except for people with XXY chromosomes. That would either disqualify them from women's sports or necessitate the creation of a special rule for them. 2. Lack of a Y chromosome would certainly qualify someone as a woman, but the presence of a Y chromosome might not (XXY). And would men's sports require a Y chromosome if tested, or would anyone be allowed to compete? Thanks... -

My question was concerning Penn State specifically, and all other college (and professional?) sports. What tests will they use? And will they use it on all participants, or only those they suspect are not biological women? And, to respond to a couple of your points above: - What about XXY people? - And "trans people" come to two classifications: transwomen (possibly biologically males) and transmen (possibly biological women). You, and most others, only refer to transwomen.
