Britain’s Sharia Courts and the Challenge of Religious Freedom
The Cyclist replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Introducing Laws will not stop it. See FGM ( especially in the London area ) for further details. For far too many, UK Law means nothing compared to Cultural and Religious beliefs. -
Don't mean to sound unkind, but how is the above possible for someone in their late 70's. Waking up every morning, still breathing, with a beating heart at that age is a bonus. Start enjoying it and throw out the crap in your life that you do not need.

Britain’s Sharia Courts and the Challenge of Religious Freedom

Just remember folks. In the UK and some other EU Countries, the hand wringing, knicker wetting Politicians, enabled by others of a curious mental slant are really, really worried about the rise of the Right, the far Right and the Extreme Right Wing. -

And I would bet if that survey was conducted in only the female muslim population, the answer would be UK Law. Truly amazing that some would support such a misogynistic religion / way of life, in the UK. -
Britain’s Sharia Courts and the Challenge of Religious Freedom
The Cyclist replied to Social Media's topic in World News
There is no fear, exageration or misinformation. It is happening and it shouldn't be. In the UK there should only be 1 Law, and that is UK Law. Would the people who want to adhere to Sharia Law not be better moving to a Country that practices Sharia Law ? -

Too late for that, there is not a snowballs chance in hell of that particular genie being put back in the bottle. The so called powers that be, cannot even see the danger of an average of 1000 fighting aged males flocking across the Channel on a weekly basis. Or perhaps the can, and are wilfully complicit in the downfall of the UK. -
Keir Starmer: Friends Say He Desperately Needs a Break

A Government that constantly howled about being 14 years in Opposition and having plans ready to go from day 1. Should not be surprised that they are taken to task from day 1. Their budget of 30 October based on growth, growth, growth, has not worked, which means all their fully costed sums are wrong, which means yet another raid on the taxpayer. Negative growth probable for Q4 and then it is into 2025, when we will see Companies starting to shed workers in the lead up to the end of the financial year. The carnage hasn't started yet, and Starmer is already needs a break 😀😀😳 -
UK: Jamaican Drug Offender Avoids Deportation After ECHR Appeal
The Cyclist replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Every single foreigner offender should get a ticket home. We have enough offenders of our own, without catering to offenders from the rest of the World. -
Going by what I have read on this thread. Possibly the HQ of the Pattaya Balcony Skydiving Club.

Official confirmation of my post above And this highlights the terminal stupidity of Rachel from Customer complaints and the lapdogs sent out to issue comments Right 1. Lowering the NI threshold from £9100 to £5000 2. Raising the rate from 13.8% to 15% Affects every single employer who employs and pays people above £5000 a year. The stench of desperation is getting overpowering. -

And it was a Turk last week https://www.thetimes.com/uk/politics/article/drug-dealer-spared-deportation-to-country-he-returned-to-8-times-x8fllwbns Time to suspend membership of the ECHR, until it is re-written and fit for purpose. And if that cannot be done, bin it completely. -

Did it ? So it wasn't anything to do with. 1. Raiding pension funds 2. Selling off Gold Reserves 3. PFI on steroids The great illusion of being a fiscally responsible Government. -

How can there be data to back up The data will be in the monthly rising unemployment figures after the start date of April 2025, if not sooner. You can google something like ' Wealth creators fleeing the UK " and draw your own conclusions. These people dont normally perform a song and dance and just leave. But here is one that was rather vocal https://www.cityam.com/pimlico-plumbers-founder-flushed-out-of-britain-over-fear-of-labours-tax-rules/ Sure, they will be involved in aggressive tax minimisation, which is not really an issue as it is what they have always done. Where it costs the UK economy is by closing businesses, non investment, people losing their jobs, the welfare bill rises, the income tax take drops, the National Insurance take drops. Other taxes have to rise to offset the fall in other taxes. Only a Socialist thinks a high tax model coupled with low wages is a recipe for success. Everyone else understands that to create growth, people need to have money in their pocket to create that growth, taxing to the hilt halts that growth. As Labour are now finding out with 0% growth in Q3 and most likely a negative figure for Q4. Which is quite good going considering that there was 1.2% growth across Q's 1 & 2. -

Elected to Lambeth Council in 1968 after nearly a decade in the Tory Party Youth Wing. The rest of his political career is quite straightforward. What he was doing during those Youth Wing years, I have no idea. -

For sure, the europhiles were sharpening the knives as soon as she made her 1988 Brugge speech, but Major was one of them. Cannot say I agree with this. He had been involved with the Tory Party since he was 16 years old and elected as a Councillor when he was about 25 and then a Tory MP when he was about 35. -

Doesn't really matter what I have in mind, I doubt that their is anyone with the swingers to impliment it. And even if there was, there is not a snowballs chance in hell of it getting through the HoC, the HoL and the ECHR. They would need to be the first 3 things defeated. -

Right now, the UK needs something that is 100 times more potent and effective than Maggie Thatcher. -

You could go back further, to the Grey man ousting Thatcher. Black Wednesday and Edwina Currie being his notable achievements. -

The ' Strain ' hasn't even started yet. Unless there is a quick U-Turn on the workers rights Bill, millions of part time workers are going to be unemployed. Unless there is a quick U-Turn on the employers NI rises, millions of other workers are going to be unemployed. Wealth creators already fleeing Socialist Paradise. Double digit inflation and interest rates to follow. Tax rises to follow that. Nothing to see here, move along now. -
I wonder how many times this has been posted https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/media/5a80bddc40f0b623026953eb/uk-thailand-dtc180281_-_in_force.pdf @mikebell If you want to really get into the nitty-gritty, somewhere on the UKGov website is a big list of all the pensions that are considered Government Pensions.

Do you flaunt your wealth in Thailand?

I know that feeling 😀😀 And I only found out when the ATM spat out a load of 500's instead of 1000's -
This is Government water, right ? How much do you spend on drinking water ? I must spend at least a 1500 a month on drinking & cooking water. And how much for toiletries / houshold cleaning stuff / clothes washing detergent & fabric softener ? If it works for you, well done, but I think your budget breakdown is actually very limited in what it covers and gives a false impression.

I also do not believe that these forms are being filled in correctly. As I posted somewhere back in the thread. Part 2 ( I think ) is giving you the opportunity to declare your overseas income remitted to that KBank Account, as in my case XXXX Baht / Government Pension / NI Number. A nice closed, easily checkable loop for CRS purposes.
