I don't think it really matters. The media is already turning on Labour. Check out the opinion pieces in today's Labour loving Guardian. Not content with shafting large parts of the Country, he has now drawn the ire of the PCS and FDA Unions. Starmer hasn't a hope in hell of a 2nd term. Starmer will be gone within a year and Labour will be out in 2029, if not sooner.

There is more in more in play than the sorry state of the Military. Too long a list to go into, so I will just give you a few examples from the modern day era. 1. Societal changes. 2. Unfit to join through, medical issues including obesity, prior convictions, habitual drug use. 3. Capita. The loss of places like Singapore, Hong Kong, Germany and a few others can hardly be blamed on the Military either. And it still can be, for anyone who is willing to invest the time and effort, rather than being glued to a mobile phone or playstation. From 1970 to 1990 the British Army strength only reduced by around 20,000 The fall of the Berlin Wall and the breakup of the USSR had the Kumbaya singers rubbing their hands together and thinking about the monetary savings. The slashing and burning started in earnest from 1992 / 3 And I'll also echo what @mokwit says above Another issue is that the Welfare Budget, is now equal to the combined budgets of the Armed Forces , Education and Policing. Another major issue right there.

Is 1 million baht enough to retire in Thailand?
The Cyclist replied to Celsius's topic in General Topics
That equates to about Baht 6000 a month for the next 14 years. Not enough to live on, not enough to even exist on. -

😀😀😀😀😀 Sure Nothing to do with Musk having lots of communications related to Starmer, which we cannot talk about due to a Super Injunction. -
You lost me. Who am I talking about being in the UK legally ? Are you referring to the fake Asylum seekers flocking across the channel ? Yes, I believe that at least 95% of them are in the UK illegally, as they are not Asylum seekers, they are economic migrants, who would not qualify for. visa if they tried to come legally, so fake asylum claims it is. When there is a handful of men, assisting 1000's and 1000's of woman and children across the channel, then I may just change mind, until then, no chance.

I didn't say or suggest otherwise. I did say very specifically a high profile precedent had occured with regards to Brazilian overstayers. Sorry. Wiki does not give me a warm fuzzy feeling as being a true and accurate source of information. 20,000 illegal arrivals since July does not suggest a hostile environment. Putting them up in hotels at a cost estimated to be IRO £15 million a day does not suggest a hostile environment. The Tories can take the blame, Labour can take the blame for not only continuing with it, but for opening up even more hotels, which will increase the pulling power of trying to get to the UK.

A rather obvious precedent of Brazilians overstaying their Visa's to remain in the UK. Not limited to Brazilians, of course. It is rampant in the UK. Along with false marriage visas, false education visas, false employment visas. Been going on for decades, and the 2 main Political Parties share the blame for not getting to grips with it.

You did, right here I will ask you again, in what weird world of academia is 649 repatriations against 20,000 illegal arrivals a positive improvement ? A net increase of some 19, 341 is neither dealing with the problem or making positive improvements. And only an utter lunatic would try to spin it as a positive.

Dont flatter yourself. I am waiting on the benefit of your Academia, to explain, how 649 repatriations against 20,000 arrivals, since July, is a step in a positive direction. It shouldn't be a hard task for someone who likes to boast about the Institutions they have attended. Whilst you are blinding us with science, could you also regale us with how many Hotels Labour have requisitioned for illegals since July and at what cost ?
