The State Pension comes with a transfer code, something like this ????? / DWP / ?????? Anyone who is getting the State Pension paid to a UK account, the new changes will allow the DWP to look into your account. I wonder what will happen, when the look at an account, see multiple transfers out via wise or similar and no UK Transactional data, like the use of a debit card in the UK. The ' Stop Payment ' button will be smacked and a letter will be sent out telling you your pension has been stopped and you have an interview in 2 days time to explain why it should be ' Unstopped ' Guess what is going to happen when you miss that interview ? -
Not sure that this is accurate. The Banks, in this case Kbank, will need a trail for income deposited in that KBank account, if it comes from overseas. As an example, income remitted from the UK, into a KBank account would require the account holders UK NINO / UTR, to follow this trail. Otherwise they could not square the reporting circle. Who will be handing over cash ? Strange comment. There are many who will comply with the rules and hand over nothing. No one is preaching anything, they are pointing out reality. https://www.rd.go.th/fileadmin/user_upload/FATCA_File/crs/Thailand_CRS_Guidance_280823.pdf Perhaps those that do not wish to face reality, or are in complete denial of reality, should refrain from posting.

Why do you insist on continuing with this garbage ? This has come about due to Thailand signing up to an International Agreement ( Commonly known as CRS ) The only way Thailand are dropping this is if they actually withdraw / suspend the International Agreement. Until then they will comply with the rules as laid down in the CRS. Thailand can do what it wants with its own Domestic Policy, which is totally different from an International Agreement.

Sure I got my private pension returned to my UK bank as of December 2023, and if I need to I will start to draw down my savings in my Thai FCA. My Government pension will still wing its way to Thailand ona monthly basis.
