    Well put. I voted for Trump because he said was going to tackle some of the things you mentioned and he already has started the process. Labeling him as a dictator is pure hyperbole.

    I don't think that would qualify as fraud, but as wasteful spending. Fraud might be if the toilet seat intentionally failed to meet the specifications. One purpose of government audits is to uncover the misuse of public funds and wasteful spending is considered misuse.

    Are you implying that Rubio, Noem, Bondi, Bessent, Stefanick and Turner are incompetent political hacks? I agree not all of his nominees are qualified and some are totally inappropriate. I have named some of them in previous posts. Generalizing and demeaning all of the is hateful and spiteful.

    Congress controls the purse strings. Cutting funding can often bring some surprising results.

    Any one remember Jack Anderson, the investigative reporter? He was always receiving death threats because of the corruption he exposed.

    One purpose of an audit is to track spending. If the money was diverted, it still can be accounted for. Forensic audits are conducted to uncover irregularities and suspected fraud.

    Of course it happens. It's not only fraud, but wasteful spending that needs to be addressed. For instance, weapons that none of the services wanted.

    If there is a will there is a way. A forensic audit coupled with Congressional subpoenas may be one way of getting down to the bottom of this. These kinds of investigations may take awhile, but if Trump gets behind of it things may move along a little faster. Let's see how much "will" there is.
