  1. Seems as if you are admitting that the U.S. has been responsible for much of the funding for health programs in developing countries.
  2. I find your possible scenarios quite hilarious. Who's your scriptwriter?
  3. I always let my Thai girlfriend handle the hotel check in process. Sometimes my passport was asked for and sometimes not. Most of the time we stayed at the family home. That's the address I entered on the TM6.
  4. I've always wondered what happens to all the TM6s that have been submitted. Shredded up to use as mulch or stored in a warehouse owned by a connected someone charging exorbitant rent?
  5. No complaints? Lot's of them, but who listens to a bunch of tourists that contribute to the Thai economy? "you know what you can do!!" is just the attitude why things can go south. Successful businesses listen to their customers and the tourist industry is a business.
  6. Be prepared to be disappointed. Past performance is no guarantee.
  7. Charismat Charismatic leaders, like Martin Luther King, lead the charge and when they go the movement they started doesn't necessarily peter out. This is not about personal character but rather an example of what may be in store if Trump leaves unexpectedly. According some posters, they expect Trump to leave sooner than later. We will have wait to see how accurate their expectations are.
  8. He talks about sore winners, but fails to mention sore losers. Seems as the sore losers are back on line again with their vilifying posts.
  9. You are free to voice your opinion just as I am free to disagree with you.
  10. Doubt all you want. You've been wrong a few times before or have you forgotten?
  11. I'm talking about Hegseth hiring "some of the best minds." Some people just can't wait to jump to the wrong conclusion. OMG!
  12. Here comes one of the vilifiers I mentioned earlier.
  13. Even if you appointed a CEO with years of experience he still wouldn't be able to run the show efficiently without the help of others(advisers) under him. Guess some people have never heard of "hiring some of the best minds." This the same reason elected legislators have a staff of assistants to do research and write bills.
  14. In accounting there are ways to classify cash transactions, unless you are trying to hide something. I don't know what the reasons for failing the audits were and I doubt you know either. If there are suspicions of fraud then a forensic auditor should be used to investigate.
  15. Same question came to my mind also. Exactly what are the sex offenses? Ruin a person's life? What about the life of the victim? This old adage applies, "If you can't do the time, don't do the crime."
  16. Now that you have had your ridiculous say you can go back to bed.
  17. His biggest challenge will be to have a successful audit of the Pentagon. So far they have not been able to account for all the money spent. Coverup of wasteful spending?
  18. Did you read the title?
  19. No the punishment is the two bottles of Johnny Walker Black we also bring for him.
  20. So far you seem the only one that doesn't get it.
  21. You sound like a very unhappy person. Hope your vilification makes you happy.
  22. The end of an era.
  23. Early in my U.S. Navy days I was at the China Fleet Club in Hong Kong as a guest of a British sailor. When the end of happy hour was near the group ordered a pitcher of beer for each man. No way could I keep up with them. By the way, that was my introduction to fish 'n chips. Very enjoyable experience.
  24. While we are on the subject of alcohol abuse, are you aware of how the U.S. military ensures that their troops have easy and cheap access to booze. Service clubs have happy hours with reduced prices from prices that are already low. Then there are the package liquor stores with daily or weekly specials. While the military does not approve of alcohol abuse they sure make it easy to get hooked.
