    Who claimed they are not two different wars. He is comparing the history of aid given in the past and questioning why should it be any different this time. If you think it is different then by all means please explain the difference.

    I'm not the doubting Thomas. At 85, I'm a bit old to be traveling to a war zone, plus I don't have a problem that some of my tax dollars have gone to support Ukraine. You're fooling yourself if you think the Russian side of the story depicts what is actually going on.

    Do you really believe that? Why did it take so long for Russia to bring in North Korean troops? I would say because they haven't been able to accomplish what they initially set out to do. A real sign of desperation and quite an embarrassment for Putin.

    Agree. Negotiating for peace is fruitless. This why I keep saying Israel needs to finish the job.

    You seemed to be the only one concerned about whether he missed the point or not. The fact is these former intelligence officials showed an extreme lack of judgement. They made fools of themselves and anyone who defends their decision is a fool, too. Has any one of them come out an apologized for their damning letter?

    If it can be pursued without distracting from the GOP's main agenda of moving America forward, then I would say it's worth a try. But we don't need any more DOJ circuses.

    Quite a few enemies on the list. I counted 60. While it may sound like a good idea to some, I think there are many other pressing issues that need to be addressed before expending precious resources on this. Seems more like a vendetta to me and it often backfires when you pursue one.

    Definitely, caution is advised. Scammers using AI to create fake websites are on the rise.

    Losing their clearances means they are no longer valuable for such jobs. What goes around, comes around.

    No problem. Dealing with financial institutions today have become more complicated, especially with all new banking options plus the security threats that have become so commonplace. Remembering details have become quite a chore and it can be very easy to forget them.

    The Houthis have just announced that because of the ceasefire they will only be attacking Israeli ships in the Red Sea. I think they are running out of steam and are now only capable of token attacks.

    I have made several posts stating basically the same thing, except the Houthis in Yemen are presently still a minor threat. The ragtag army that is Hamas today can still cause a lot of headaches and need to be reckoned with. Yes, the war is not won and Israel needs to finish the job. The sooner the better.

    Twice I have reported broken links to AN administration to no avail. So posting links is a craps shoot. Some work but most don't.

    For the past 20 years, with the exception of 2 years during COVID, I have been visiting Thailand once or twice a year. Always on a visa exempt entry. I see no good reason to cancel the visa exempt category for the majority of countries that now qualify.

    Strange way to do business. Financial institutions that I have accounts with and amended their account numbers have informed me what the new account number is and to notify anyone that needs to know. I don't recall the exact wording, but I was not required to open a new account.

    Then count yourself as among the wise. Expecting perfection often ends in great disappointment.

    First of all I would verify it's not a scammer fishing for information. Malwarebytes is reporting AI generated phoney Google websites. Not sure how it works, but a friend of ours in Bangkok has one of her customers reporting money lost from such a website.

    He will make an excellent Secretary of State. As for the links, some work and some don't. I've tested most of my posted links. They work fine until posted on AN. It's becoming very frustrating. Not a good deal for AN advertisers who pay for an anticipated audience.
