My rats live above the ceiling, under the roof. And you really don't want to poison them. Because they will die there and in this heat start smelling extremely strong. Even a white maggots will start appearing around your house/inside the house. And if you have typical Thai house the area under the roof is inaccessible. Only way is to start breaking the ceiling. So no poisoning.

Soi Honey / Soi Diana One way starts 21 May
AnotherOneHere replied to scubascuba3's topic in Pattaya
Soi Honey doesn't matter, it's dead. Nobody walks there or drives there. But Soi Diana was always dangerous as hell. On one side high concrete wall, on other bar seats that are right next to road with no barrier. Road wide enough for one car. And two way traffic with people walking it the road. -

Printers under 3000 Baht work like this: they will sell you cheap machine. They might even lose money on it. But it's not problem because they know you will be forced buy ink from them. And that's where they make money. 👺 👺 👺 I once bought cheap printer for around 2000 Baht. After printing 100 pages it run out of ink. I looked and new cartridge prices and calculated that it would cost me 4 Baht per page! 🥵 While the shop across the road charges 1 Baht for page. So I threw that printer into a trash. 😮💨

Kawasaki Z250SL occasional start problems
AnotherOneHere replied to damole's topic in Motorcycles in Thailand
I always take my Kawasaki Z300 to official dealer ship. I don't want some local Somchai trying his village wisdom hotfixes on it. I also want all parts to be original. So if I was you I would take it to official Kawasaki dealership. You are also guaranteed that when the motorcycle comes out of shop it will be fixed. Instead of trying to throw random Chinese parts at it as Somchai recommends. Once my bike was completely dead. Wouldn;t even turn over. Toke it to the Kawasaki and paid like 1200 baht for oil change and filter and 500 Baht for new starting relay. Yeah, Somchai would do it cheaper, but it's not like Kawasaki gonna bankrupt you. -

What part of Asia are people more friendly?
AnotherOneHere replied to georgegeorgia's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Yes, I have been in Laos many many many times and only reason I stopped coming are the people. Every time I crossed their border back I felt reenergized by interacting with other people. Laos is a very beautiful country, more beautiful than Thailand. But I have no intention to visit it again only because of the people. Thai people are the most friendly people on my list.
