  1. Amazing. Underlines the importance of basic first aid training for as many as possible, with defribs dotted around if possible. That'll be a very big wai from the tourist I hope.
  2. If only he had the basic skillset and real-life experience to get a proper job. Oh wait, virtually none of the UK Members of Parliament fit that job description, or if they ever did they forgot as soon as they hit the "winter fuel allowance" gravy train.
  3. Yeah, depends on the exclusion zone and how proactive the police are at reacting to either the proximity alarm or that the bracelet has been tampered with (chopped off). 300km exclusion zone should be far enough. Maybe. Hopefully. Perhaps. Maybe not.
  4. And for any OCD prisoners, how about mis-matching shoes AND laces?
  5. Yeah. I wonder if these people believed they had a choice. Look after their families. Or not. I guess they definitely are not now. Maybe also the karma thing took charge. Still sad for their families and friends. And it's all so avoidable too.
  6. Reminds of an Ear, Nose & Throat specialist I once had to see... 😇👩‍⚕️🙈
  7. Not going to disagree, but he's paying for what he prefers. Same as everyone.
  8. Reminds me of a TV show in the UK a few years ago. Watch the first sketch of this... 🤪
  9. #MeToo should apply to everyone. Same as #FederalLaw and respect for all of the judicial system that countless presidents have allowed to rumble on. And most ex-Presidents.
  10. OMG!! 🤡 Another law breaker wanting to be back in public life.
  11. Well done Noi. So brave. I hope your niece can find a way to recover from this terrible situation.
  12. Not interested in arguing on this, but I thought they were. A quick look on the European Parliament website confirms they were. Maybe a semantic thing, but if you can could you explain your comment? The United Kingdom (UK) joined the European Union in 1973, having maintained a long-standing relationship with the bloc since its founding. In 2016, following a referendum, it became the first Member State to end its EU membership. The last part of the copied text is why I think they were. 13. Why not let GB back in? That should help accelerate the collapse…
  14. I'm based in Hong Kong, and pay for it using an HK card. I travel a lot and my account never has any issues.
  15. I reckon the captioned from the OP means you don't need to. Anywhere with an Internet connection, and as long as you have all the right info to upload you should be okay. The eVisa system ought to be able to 'read' your IP address so will know you are in-country, in Vietnam, therefore eligible to apply through the system based in Hanoi or HCM.
  16. Well done to the attendant and the responders for resolving this without injury. A good news story.
  17. I know it's against the law, but surely if Thais don't want to do this job how can this be illegal?
  18. They did the right thing, running to someone they thought they could trust to help. Sad.
  19. Amazing. She's got a story to tell her child when he or she gets older!
