Yes those were quality movies, never heard about Sand Pebbles. Angels with Dirty Faces. I also appreciate those you mention, but the emotional factor with dirty dancing is what made me start this thread. The movie Lion is another one that touches me emotionally.

For me, it is Dirty Dancing. I was involved in the video release of the movie in Europe in 1987, and what was actually a low budget movie, turned out to be a blockbuster. Since, I have watched it at least 8 times, most recent just today, and still I shed a tear in the closing scene. So share your movie of all times.

In your eagerness to make another anti-Trump post, you failed to mention the main purpose and outcome from his trip. https://www.politico.eu/article/volodymyr-zelenskyy-donald-trump-emmanuel-macron-hold-first-post-reelection-talks-at-hosted-trilateral-meeting/ Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron for hosting a “good and productive trilateral meeting” ahead of the reopening of the Notre Dame Cathedral. This meeting, which lasted less than an hour, was the first in-person encounter between Zelenskyy and Trump since he won the election this past November; Trump and Zelenskyy had spoken over the phone shortly after the race was called. “We all want this war to end as soon as possible and in a just way. We spoke about our people, the situation on the ground, and a just peace,” Zelenskyy wrote on X. “We agreed to continue working together and keep in contact. Peace through strength is possible.”

Exactly that. My first flight I tried to book through agencies, and by the time I got all details added, the price was significanly higher than the search result. With the airlines, your end price will be exactly the same as what you see in the Skycanner search result
-
Let me start with making clear that I stay clear of Chinese airlines and Chinese agents for obvious reasons My last 3 flights (emirates - Etihad and Qatar) I used Skyscanner to search, and each time the results showed booking through the airline directly was the cheapest option. I also had to cancel one of the flights, 2 weeks after booking, and book a new one, and got a full refund. Try that with an agent

Thailand's EV Industry Faces Challenges Amid Subsidy Concerns - video

In other threads, you are bragging about how your electric toy has faster acceleration than ICE cars, so I nominate your post for troll post of the year. Actually it is difficult to distinguish between all your posts which one qualifies most -
I stopped watching series and movies more than a decade ago for such reasons. If one wants to continue to live in an unrealistic dreamworld, then enjoy your VoD.

Finance Ministry Plans Capital Boost to Propel Thai Airways Recovery

You must have a special skyscanner, because this is what I get selecting flexible dates for the whole month of December. Cheapest is 864 AU$ Take note this is only the departing flight, then still have to select the return. I select the one at $640 and this is the result I got. -

If you knew all that, and didn't learn anything, congrats. If the opposite, oh well This is not about what I knew or not knew, it belongs in the same category as the climate change threads. Ok we can not eat sugar anymore, we also should not eat fat, also not processed foods and I'm sure I forget a lot of other things we should not eat. Oh yeah, salmon is healthy, but just the other day I read an article that claimed you should not eat it more than once a week, otherwise it would become unhealthy. Maybe we should start grazing like the cows? In short, I have eaten all my life what I like to eat. I'm 66 years old, and I can't remember the last time I saw a doctor, other than for a dirty flute. My dad died last year, 2 days before his 96th birthday, and he never has looked after what he could or could not eat. The only medicine he took was something for cholesterol, so I think I will be fine with my diet.
