  1. Not only have I made illustrations with the Mastercard spread, but I also did so including the bank's currency conversion fee at 3%. That is likely what your bank charges. It's a standard fee across all markets. But you are so thick and stuck to your position of arguing uselessly, that you are completely blind to those figures. That is exactly what you did on every other thread, even when people were openly ridiculing your assertions. I can only assume that you missed school in order to work on a farm or some such and that you really don't understand anything, no matter how much it has been explained to you. You are simply a lost cause. Unless the exchange rate falls to AU$3 to US$1, then Localphone is always going to be cheaper when buying GBP, no matter any currency conversion charge. You arguing against it, just makes you look a fool. Be my guest...
  2. I already have already proved it to everyone else who has perused this thread That Localphone is far less expensive than using Skype Credit. If you are unable to see that, we can only assume that you are deficient in some way or just a silly Troll. Take your pick. But time will not improve it as you are already quite old. That's as good as it's going to get for you. Shame.
  3. I put the lid on the high rack, supplied with the convection oven. The halogen bulb going on and off is an annoyance. I solve that by not using a halogen oven but one using a heated metal ring. Indeed the inexpensive OTTO oven that I recommended comes with the option of a metal bowl; CO-709. CO-708 for the glass bowl. Both should be available at Makro.
  4. There's a misunderstanding here. The misunderstanding being the description of these convection ovens as a whole as either 'air fryers' or halogen ovens. In fact they are all Air Fryers. In fact, many of the products sold as 'air fryers' are unable to reach the higher temperatures of their bigger brothers, convection ovens. In reality, they are much the same thing; fan ovens of differing designs. Some use heated rings and some use halogen lamps. Air Fryers in general use heated rings. Their big brothers utilise either heated rings or halogen lamps. If I recommend a model, it will utilise heated rings and a fan, just like the smaller 'air fryers'. I use air fryer/convection ovens, slow cookers and a conventional hob. Salmon steaks and such can be done in air fryers/convection ovens. There will always be some kind of odour. I have two kitchens. One inside and one outside, so possibly not the best person to advise on your particular situation.
  5. The product in question isn't Xiaomi branded. They've simply put the name of the product in the headline to fool people who are searching, into thinking they are getting a bargain. What they actually send won't be related to the Xiaomi product in any way. That's why I posted the two pictures. It's not a copy, it doesn't have the Xiaomi/Mi product name written on it. It's completely unrelated. They obviously succeeded, in the case of the OP. Though the OP's gratitude for me saving him from wasting his time with it was somewhat short-lived 😊
  6. It was 385 baht then too, as you can see. I think that you are being somewhat disingenuous with regard to the Holiday Inn breakfast buffet. The cost is 499 baht, not 299 baht. 299 baht only if you join Hi Club for 500 baht. Likely not a problem for some, as it has some good benefits, but it's worth mentioning if you are claiming that the price is 299 baht for the buffet breakfast. Personally I prefer to sit outside rather than under air conditioning and Casa Pascal is Brunch, up to 2.30pm. Holiday Inn is just breakfast, up to 10.30am. 11.30 at weekends.
  7. I can do bread, desserts, pizza in a normal 12l convection oven, but I use an extension ring(expands oven to 17l and allows for more even cooking) for that. Of course I advise on a minimal cost basis. The minimum cost to get the job done. Everyone is welcome to spend 5x more on a bigger and more capable appliance if they wish. But to spend more than double for something 3x smaller seems counter-intuitive.
  8. They asked.... and still went for a 3.5l air fryer...... I suggested a 12 litre 'air fryer'/convection oven at less than half the price. A 3.5l air fryer is just a toy for a single man. So many convince themselves that their tiny air fryers are all that is necessary.
  9. I'm surprised that two people have agreed with this. It depends on what is written in the agreement. It, to all intents and purposes, IS the renter's condo and no one can enter unless expressly agreed within the contract. Otherwise what is to stop landlords/agents strolling in whenever they feel like it, to make themselves a cup of tea when they are in the area?
  10. It seems incredible that someone would think that a 3.5l oven is a replacement for a full sized oven for three people. I'd be surprised if the third person eats with them at all. I guess most use them for frozen chips and meat/sausages. I think their local friends would soon tire of that.
  11. Most of the guys here are, to all intents and purposes, single. Their idea of good food and what constitutes a full meal might be different from yours or mine.
  12. Wake up! That's nothing to do with what is being discussed there. It's neither a Mi nor a Xiaomi.
  13. Why all this pathetic rambling? I nor anyone else needs to know how much your card charges. It hardly makes any difference at all. You simply took over the OP's thread with your own silly agenda, as you have done on so many threads before and will likely do again. It was a simple recommendation to the OP for the best value method to call his friend in Australia, until you arrived and tried to make it all about you. Any 'lousy' rate you may have received is down to your own ignorance. The product you chose and they way you chose to pay. You keep writing foolishly about the 'lousy rate' you received without any evidence at all. Show us the figures and we'll find out the truth. So far, the maximum deviation from the spot rate for any standard credit card in Australia would be 4%. For the best, it is less than 1%. You have been wrong with regard to every single thing you have posted on this thread and there is no reason to believe that you haven't got it wrong again with regard to your exclamations about the rate you received. 4% of US$10 is 40 US cents. So you'd be charged that AU$ equivalent of US$10.40. That's it. Instead of the 'perfect' rate of AU$15.11(that no consumer in Australia can access anyway), you might pay AU$15.71. So you argued and made yourself an absolute nuisance over a possible 4% charge on your card; AU$0.60. That is really pathetic. Wasting my time and yours. But you obviously don't have anything better to do. There aren't any losses if the cost is less than half of the Skype costs... your whole premise was just infantile. As I told you before, the ONLY reason why you are not on ignore, is to stop people from following making the same mistakes that you make. Hopefully you'll just go away...
  14. Take pity on the maladjusted and mentally deficient.
  15. So you are implying that she tried to kill him by moving at a snail's pace and turning the wheel to try to avoid him?
  16. Yes. Didn't feel the need to kill anyone for inching their vehicle forward. His was murderous intent. Mealy-mouthed excuses afterwards don't cut the mustard. He should be a man rather than to make pathetic excuses.
  17. Less dangerous than shooting someone through a windscreen at close range. They had a moral responsibility to shoot and kill a pregnant woman who presented no danger to them? His argument was that he felt his life was in danger. The evidence does not support that.
  18. Don't act like a girl. Come up with a serious reply if you are a man. If it were a 2,000+ dangerous weapon, then why did he CHOOSE to stand in front of it? Apart from that, she was moving so slowly that he could have easily have moved out of the way. It was a stupid and murderous tactic.
  19. Why was his gun drawn in the first place? Was there any evidence that she was armed and dangerous? His tactic was to stand in front of the car and shoot her if she tried to move. That's clearly manslaughter. Nothing to do with politics.
  20. No need to go anywhere...they have a call centre that can check for that.
  21. They are not halogen ovens. I guess you didn't bother to check before posting. Next time, check before reacting.
  22. What are you running now? Type System Information into the Windows search box and then click on the System Information option. Copy and Paste the info shown and post it here. (Remove System Name and Username lines before posting)
  23. Nope. https://www.restaurant-in-pattaya.com/breakfastlunch-buffet Tuesday to Sunday. 385 baht. It's gone up in price over time. Still ok if you go there to relax and read a newspaper. Can spend a few hours there.
