  1. it all really depends on your location and line quality. i have the same connecting in my office and my home, my office on the main road i get max dl speeds - no downtime, by home about 200m from my office is lucky to stay alive for 6 hours solid.

  2. virgin blue? yeah they are great, i'd rank them above any other airline I've ever flown with (and i used to fly with VB every week for work).

always helped me, fantastic customer service... i can check in online and print out my ticket - no line to wait in at the airport, just straight to the gate.

guess i'm not an a__hole of a customer?

  3. meh, i'm aussie and anywhere you go in the world there's idiots who do that kinda thing. country of origin isn't the issue.

unless you want to jump in on a 1v3 fight there's f-all you can do beside contact the local BIB

  4. it's hard to find gear, there's a place on theppresit road opposite the markets near the outlet mall end. that's the only place i've found consoles and mixers, rest of the shops i've found mainly have lights and speakers / amps.

if you do find somewhere, let me know! my denons are getting old and my pacemaker is a bit small at times

  5. mmmmm settle on a bit people.

Think about it, if you wanted to start a news outlet to support yourself financially - and because it keeps you busy and interests you, what better place to be than a volunteer police officer. Personally if I was going to be running that kind of business, then yeah, i'd be looking to put myself in a similar situation, your not only are involved with the happenings within walking street, but you also get to know others in other areas and hear other news you can research and report.

Also, I do agree the way they walk down walking street they look like idiots. And if you have to put up with very drunk people all night long, people who want to start fights because they are drunk and other confrontational crap on an hourly basis, i'd also be approaching someone with a camera on the front foot not the 'oh i'm sorry, can you turn that off please' back foot. maybe it was a little too aggressive (which i think it came across as), but who's to say he had been having a good night.

As for his mate who helped, I would not be approaching anyone without having someone else with me, even just a mate who isn't an officer, just someone who's got my back if the person you are approaching is drunk and off his rocker wanting to start something.

In saying that, his mate shouldn't have said squat, should have stood back and let howard say whatever he wanted to say and leave it at that, the civilian came on like the idiot screwing up what could - should have been a civialised conversation.

  6. best bet is to talk to a printer a small printer would know poeple who do the sticker drops and small flyer drops, a printer that deals in large quantities (not a small digital printer, screen printing etc), they will have the contacts for it since they'll already be doing print runs for that kind of thing.

  7. thailand doesn't block them but some of the bookie sites will close out your account if you are betting from a country that doesn't allow gambling because they can lose their license.
