The real siege of L.A. - ICE raids are shredding the city’s social fabric of immigrant lives
I only saw 3 potential protestors about about 100 people with press vests on. Looked like a pretty boring press party to me. Everyone brought cameras and no one provided beverages.

My wife wanted me to sign a document any money she gets is hers!
Don't worry MLM cults normally don't last that long. She'll ask to borrow 50,000B tomorrow to get to Executive Level and in 3 months when the boss goes to jail, you can remind her she still owes you 50 Gs and show her who the real boss is.

My wife wanted me to sign a document any money she gets is hers!
You should have had her sign it too and keep a copy and maybe even have a couple of family members witness it. You should have also asked for something today in return. 10-1hr massages, a solo vacation, a new truck, a month of no relatives coming in the house or something.

Donald sure can pick em'
I think this is probably one the of the strongest cabinets EVER. Not all perfect, but I like that they actually meet, talk, move lock step together, support each other. Too many in both parties in the past had their own agendas and did not give a puck, what the old man (Joe and others) wanted, stood for, or supported. Trump learned in Term 45, DC is not NYC real estate. He honed his skills on hiatus for 4 years. Now moving with near precision. I mean how did he get all the left wing nut jobs of industry to attend the smallest inauguration ever? He has a whole team of legal staff fighting the activist judges. He will win, the American people will win.

Musk calls Trump’s big tax break bill a ‘disgusting abomination'
It's not a Trump tax bill. It is a Congressional boondoggle spending bill. Elon is right to be pissed. He spends a lot of time and effort slashing and burning the government, trying to make a difference in spending that is bankrupting the US. Trump likely wants a balanced budget, but knows Congress will never in a million years go for it, because they want to get reelected. Almost every elected office will not reduce spending in their district voluntarily. Cut the other guy's stuff is ok, but not in my district. Trump tried as 45 to cut some of this stuff, and got his ass handed to him. Didn't understand how things worked in DC. Maybe he has a strategy. He is a great chess player. Let the good stuff in this bill move forward, get it implemented and then hit them with the whammo cuts two years from now or 4 years from now. If I understand correctly in the BBB military spending goes up 15%, program spending is still triple 2018 spending. Some serious belt tightening is going to have to happen....everywhere.....Pentagon, SS and MC, and programs. Something like 80,000 people work at the Pentagon. 12,000 Air Force stationed in the UK, 35000 in Germany. Evidently we need to replace 90% of that with Palantir drones. SS we need to raise the retirement age. None of this 62 stuff, need to start raising year by year for the younger people. 65 was implemented when people only lived to 68. Immigration we need to pick and choose the best and the brightest and who will benefit the economy the most. Free visa for every Filipina RN and train them as PA/NP to do primary care. Flood the market. No free for all immigration. RFK could probably 1/2 medical expenses by outlawing tobacco, THC, and vapes. NZ did it. My guess is this is all pure strategy. Afterall Trump has two SCOTUS to appoint and get through the Senate. He's probably thinking, ok we'll spend a bit in your district, but you will owe me when I appoint Tyrus and Ted Cruz to SCOTUS.

Anyone replaced the gas strut on a office chair?
If you don't need the piston, there is kit on the shopping sites with 3 rings that can fix to it to make it stationary. For max height you use all 3 rings, med 2rings, tall people or short desks 1 ring. It's a solution. I guess the PVC probably cheaper. I laugh at my office mate who stole my chair and went to a lot of trouble to do so, getting a cheap chair, now with fixed height. If I ever find it, I'll steal it back though.

How do you feel about Thailand being clearly far-right?
I just think it is hilarious that so many left wing socialist/communist think they are escaping their repressive right wing governments to "free" Thailand because they saw someone walking down a tourist corridor smoking weed and ladyboys are tolerated. How little they know about Thai politics or society. How fast do they figure it out and move their leftist woke BS back to their home countries?

Joe Biden Diagnosed with Aggressive Cancer
Just one of the many lies of his administration. Presidents have checkups every year at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. This has to be diagnosed well before this month. You don't wake up one day with Stage 4 that has spread to bones. Of course the truth would have hurt his chances for reelection before the coup. Of course we don't wish cancer on anyone, but if you're a man, you probably will die of 1 of 3 things....heart disease, colon or prostate cancer. Bone cancer painful. Terrible way to go.

What is the current 2025 Cost of a Cremation in Thailand?
#1....probably free service if you donate your body to science. Every medical school in Thailand needs body donations. Normally they'll use the body for a year for student interaction or for research and give you the ashes back for free in a year or two. If you don't want them back or you want them to dispose of them, they probably will. Check their websites for willed body program....Mahidol or Chula or a dozen other medical schools. If you want good karma give it to the worst or lowest ranked school, instead of these two as they probably have the most difficult times getting donations. You might also check at Wat Hua Lamphong and the Por Tek Tung Foundation. They might do low cost cremations.

Who Gives a Flying Grift?
I don't think he'll ever fly in this plane. It will take 3 years probably to convert it to AF1 standards with all the inflight fueling, electronics gear and all that is required, plus pilot and crew training. It would probably be done about the end of his term. To fly privately it's probably $200,000/flight hour. He won't pay that. His old 757 I think sat in New York in disrepair for about 3 years, because he didn't want to pay to fix it. From what I remember it needed a new engine and some high$ maintenance. This gift is like a white elephant. He has a lot of money, but probably not 747 prince/king kind of money. Also at 80 years old, he probably doesn't have a lot of flying time left. Trump flying in a private 747 would be NFL player type stupidity. How fast can you go broke? Now the idea of painting it in USA colors and parking it at a presidential library is interesting. That would probably create some interest in visiting. Regan has an old plane at his museum in Loma Linda and an old Beast limo.

A Quiet Enigma: The Elusive Presence of Melania Trump in the White House
She has a 19 year old college student living at Trump Tower and going to NYU in the Big Apple. Seems like a good and smart kid, but would you allow him to live there alone? She is there packing his lunchbox everyday and making sure he completes his study time. Nothing more, nothing less.

Gyms for sale?? Or start one
How good are your sales skills? Gyms are not about working out or even the equipment. It is about selling memberships. Most businesses are about selling. People get confused. They think all these people will just magically show up and want a membership. Maybe 2 a month do, but for the other 100 you need to get signed up and the 300 in January you need signed up to even pay your rent or buy new equipment or pay staff, you need to sell sell sell. Potentially you can hire this out, but they're probably never as good or interested as you are. People too often forget that most businesses are very little about the business and 99% of the success is how well you can sell. Show me almost every failing business, and I will show you sales solve everything. or almost everything.

Thailand Sees Slight Rise in Foreign Condo Transfers Despite Value Drop
Large groups buying condos is not a trend in North America. Condo market is in the basement. There are groups buying single family homes. Most of the apartment investment craze is over with higher interest rates that don't pencil out for investors. I can't imagine any of those groups buying in Thailand. Lose money on the exchange rate alone that can never catch up in rents or better operations. Lots of issues investing in Thai condos. One is there is plenty of land to build more. Fill one up, make a little money and build another next door or down the street. Thais like new, making resales difficult. Rents are super low so ROI is terrible. Are they good to buy and live in for long term stability. Maybe. Its a place to stay while studying. Maybe in a developing economy a good place to park money to protect it from inflation. Maybe better than gold which can be easily stolen. One huge issues is lack of maintenance as the buildings move forward in age. Go in almost any 20-30 year old Thai condo building and few feel like they've been well maintained....floors cracked, old elevators, nothing repaired or upgraded. That doesn't increase the value.

Thailand's Aviation Sector Soars with FAA's Category 1 Safety Upgrade
#1. Can they fill business class at full fares between LAX and BKK with no connecting traffic? That probably makes the flight profitable. If it is just filled to the brim with budget economy passengers, that usually doesn't make an airline money. #2. United will probably give them a great run for the money because they can collect all those connecting passengers from all over the country. #3. 14hour-16hour flight, so they would need 3 aircraft to service it. Do they have 3 A380s to unmothball, or 3 777s sitting around to put into service? When do the 787 deliveries start to happen? Maybe 2029 or 2030? #4. Are they profitable today...I see the press releases that have positive spin, but I never see net profit. Just EBITA or revenue, not bottom line. Are they cash flow positive yet? Many Asian airlines struggling and looks like traffic died in Feb/March on many big well know airlines. What happened at TG so far?

The 30+30+30 leasing contacts in Phuket is over
Why would they be grandfathered? They were never legal to begin with. All these geniuses in Thailand and other countries always think they have a way to get around the law, when the law was pretty clear. Wait until they start really cracking down on units in "company" name with fake Thai nominee shareholders. Plenty of people will lose their homes. Happened in Mexico and Spain and probably other places too. Crackdowns won't be nice.
