  1. 36 years old. How old was the drunk father in law that whooped his a$s?
  2. I've around 30,000 unread emails. I hope none are from him.
  3. Or will they bring back all of those they're currently deporting? 😁 I left the States nearly 30 years ago and wouldn't be surprised going by what I see every time I go back there.
  4. The list has been delivered. Standard 15 yr old Japanese saloon. New radiator <4k One new engine mount 2.4k Tension belt assembly 2.3k Coolant 0.6k Oil and filter 1.5k Around 10.5k Guess it sounds about right if one engine mount failed and the radiator ended up with a slight crack.
  5. No, and no. Tight. I sprayed the belt with water for one minute whilst running with no change of sound. I topped up the reserve and slowly drove it 15km to a local mechanic that is apparently reputable. Let's see. No coolant hitting the ground, just being sprayed around the engine bay in small amounts. There was no fresh spray visible after driving the 15km. Hopefully it's just a worn seal or pipe. Though if it is the mechanic won't profit off that too much, so one never knows what they're going to do or declare.
  6. This is easily preventable with just a few locks. Lock together the hands of all Chinese passengers and you're sweet.
  7. Another case of Chang doing over Carslberg, and EST (Exact Same Thing) doing over Pepsi?
  8. It's definitely leaking coolant. I'm not sure how many KM he drove it since I last saw it. The plastic reserve tank is down around one inch, and:
  9. Still no proof of rape, then. 🙂
  10. An unknown person on a web board is saying it allegedly happened. Of course it is true!
  11. Foreign teachers get Thai social security health insurance for life.
  12. 40k The mentioned breakdown is for 30k. 40k - 30k = ..... 🙂
  13. With guns, guns, guns.
  14. I meant for normal people, not socially inept freaks. 🙂
  15. and regularly going to the gym in their 70s? A local park with an exercise machine section is more than adequate for fit guys in their 70s. 🙂 Better socially too for being with similarly aged people every evening. 🙂
  16. Perhaps 250k with no batteries. Forget batteries for a few years. Bang the ACs on full blast until the sun goes down.
  17. To add to this, I would guess it's healthier for both body and mind to go walking around a park with a lake etc, and do some of those light and easy exercise machines they have there with the other pensioners either early morning or every evening instead of being inside a full gym.
  18. Did you find that in a trash can? It looks like you found it in a trash can.
  19. There's a very well stocked gym near here that is 30 baht for as long as you want. You scan a QR Code to pay, so I guess Australians could just pretend to scan it. Either way I doubt it would break the bank. I'm not sure using a gym is fully advisable for pensioners.
  20. Don't English teachers in Bangkok and Phuket choose to live there on such an income? Or would their life be considered subsistence existence? If a 40 year old would choose to do it in Phuket while also paying rent, I'd guess a 70 year old with no rent can do it in Pattaya.
  21. I thought it was Rolf and Jim that did that sorta thing.
  22. I'm not of that age, or of those meagre means, but imagine that 1,000 a day average for an older bloke with all assets owned, visa funds in the bank, a comfortable home in their name is okay, if they're a bit of a homebody. Say, weekdays relaxing at home with restaurant delivery for 500 per day, meeting friends in parks, at the beach, a cafe, then 4-5000 baht weekends would be comfortable for 70 year olds that are settled here and aren't interested in fat 50 year old bargirls. What do they need, one happy ending massage per week, per month? YMMV
  23. Israeli terrorism and war crimes. Nothing new here. 🙂
  24. Not once the police station dining area is stocked with toasters, coffee machines and wide screen TVs.
  25. Almost as bad as broken sentences. Why the focus on Turkish barbers, I'm sure there are numerous local owned barbershops in Liverpool that have one chair and mirror and 750,000 documented paying customers every month.
