Hunter Biden replies to Melania Trump threats to sue for $1 B
Bad move by that woman. She brought attention back on to Epstein, and for what? Whatever his flaws, Hunter is clever enough to note the introduction story by attributing it to someone else (author Michael Wolfe). Repeating what someone else said, and stating specifically where you gleaned it, leaves Hunter in the clear. It's like Trump saying he "heard" Barack Obama was born in Kenya. Hunter just pulled a Donny. Still, if the case comes to court, it will have Epstein in the news every single day of the trial. The deposition of Ms Trump, under oath, would be quite amusing. This is Hunter 1, Trumps 0. That's like losing to the 1962 NY Mets.

Hunter Biden replies to Melania Trump threats to sue for $1 B
When people get old and senile, they lose perspective. Little meaningless things take on greater significance, while more critical matters are ignored. Case in point: Hunter never did, and never will have access to the nuclear codes. He's as significant as Chelsea Clinton or Jenn Bush, maybe a lot less. OTOH, Trump---a man who said he stopped the 7,000,000 person genocide (sic) in Rwanda in 1994, at a time when he was declaring bankruptcy, and a man obsessed with windmills, Arnold Palmer's junk, and sinking electric boats in shark-filled waters---does have the nuclear codes and literally can single-handedly set Armageddon into motion. Those who still retain all of their mental faculties think the latter person is of much greater import.

Putin Has Blackmail Material on Trump, claims Mussayev
True, The cult would justify and accept any crime, no matter how heinous. Example: Who is the true sexual heartthrob of Trump's life? In what country might one find a 12-year old look-alike to that heartthrob? The cult, if confronted with a heinous and incestuous sexual escapade with such a young girl, would say: "It's Biblical. Wasn't it Job who dallied with his own daughter? Just more proof that Trump is the Chosen One". Heck, Pete Hegseth would get on his knees and pray to his deity if he saw the video, as Hegseth just commended the misogynistic rantings of a leader of his fringe sect, a guy who wants to take away women's right to vote, and who insists the sole purpose of females is to pop out new humans.

Take back the Sanctuary DC and return it to the Feds...
Please go back and finish high school. Or maybe elementary school. You have no friggin clue what Marxist and Socialist mean. You broadcast your abject idiocy every time you post. You should be embarrassed, but apparently you lack the self-reflection to see how little you know.

Take back the Sanctuary DC and return it to the Feds...
Mike Lee? LOL. He has the credibility of Rosanne Rosannadanna. He's a guy who believes in Magic Underwear. Perhaps you missed it, but some MAGAnista, inspired by RFK, Jr's idiocy, fired 180 rounds at the CDC a few days ago. Did Trump mention this in any way? No. Lots of cleanup to do in aisle MAGA. Perhaps you would devote some of your obsession to that?

Trump announces another 90-day pause on China tariffs
Trump is tailor made for some wag like Weird Al Yankovic to do remakes of several of the old Village People songs (some of which Trump used illegally at his rallies without paying royalties). TA CO TA CO man....I want to be the TA CO man and T-A-C-O...it's fun to trade with the T-A-C-O.

MAGA World Delusional About Prosecutions
I believe what he's saying is that there are no crimes...unlike Trump, who committed many crimes, and should be serving the rest of his miserable life (probably only a few more months) in jail. Oh, you probably think he declassified all those documents "with his mind", and "misremembered" when he first said he returned them all. Oh, and he actually thought that "somehow" 11,780 votes fell into a corner somewhere in GA. Oh, and he just called his morons to DC for 6 January because he heard they were having a 2 for 1 sale on US Capitol coffee mugs in the gift shop. Oh, and he used a leftist Dem marxist communist-made tape measure when he claimed his NYC condo was 30,000 square feet in his bank loan and insurance application. Oh, and he mistakenly used Indonesian rupiah in his value calculation of said condo, which his financial man said under oath Trump's claimed valuation was off "give or take $200,000,000. Now perhaps you or the truck driver will explain exactly what possible crimes Obama or Biden or Comey or Jack Smith committed. Gabbard has already been shot down, and it happened on Fox, where they are favorably disposed to her degree of sycophancy and hyperbole.

47's weaponization of the DOJ shows the US is now a dictatorship
Oh my! The vapors run thick in the fever swamps of MAGAstan! Trump was investigated BECAUSE he committed actual crimes. A quid pro quo withholding already approved equipment to Ukraine in return for fabricated junk about Biden is a crime. Stealing hundreds of classified documents is a crime. Fraudulent claims on bank loan and insurance applications is a crime. Fomenting an attack on the Capitol, after calling his losers to DC for the 6th is a crime. Pressuring a SecState of GA to "just find me 11,780 votes" is a crime. Having his Campaign Chair travel to Spain to give GRU asset Konstantin Kilimnik internal polling data is willful cooperation with a foreign power to influence a US election. That meeting is not in dispute, not even by the Republican Senators who sat on SSCI and authored the report on Russiagate. Now he wants to go after Obama, because the petulant child Trump is still miffed over a joke Obama told more than a decade ago at the White House Correspondents Dinner. Gabbard claims she "found" evidence of Obama's guilt, when she found absolutely nothing. She barked about a meeting Obama held, a meeting that was known when it happened and was thoroughly investigated by the SC Trump appointed, John Durham. Only those with the IQ of a turnip, which is to say MAGAnistas, are dumb enough to not understand this.

While Trump fails, Carney outsmarts him once again
There are "lefty Dems" and there are "lefty Dems". I'm one of the latter. Only partially woke. Someone's sexual preference or gender sense is of no concern to me. Neither is a choice. Research indicates different connections in the brain and sizes of brain areas, such as the hypothalamus and amygdala. That being said, I don't want trans playing women's sports. It's unfair to women. For example, in 2024, there were 1700 high school boys in the US who ran 100 meter times faster than the Women's Olympic Champion. Males are inherently faster and stronger, especially at the elite level. Fat, however, is a choice. I'm totally un-woke when it comes to obesity. Absent a disability, people get fat because they lack discipline, self-control and are lazy. It's high time to "fat shame", because it costs society much more than the obese pay. Nobody goes to bed a svelte and ripped 180 lbs and wakes up the next morning with a 40 inch waist and spare tires. That takes wanton disregard for one's health, well-being and pride. Fat people cannot be trusted, because they show unmistakable evidence of sloth and laziness. That likely carries over into everything they do, so hiring a fatty is a huge gamble. Yes, it takes effort to stay in shape. All good things require effort. One can choose to be slothful and slovenly, but such losers cannot be expected to be taken seriously. Their physical appearance says who and what they are. This is harsh. I admit it. That's the price for being only partially woke. I cannot pretend beer bellies, spare tires and perniculi are beautiful. They're ugly, and fat people often stink, especially in the heat and humidity of Thailand. Many things in a person's behavior indicate character or lack thereof. Obesity is one thing. Cheating at golf is another. Trump checks both boxes, and it shows in everything he does.

Trump's 2-Word Threat: National Guard Targets D.C. Homeless!
Luck of the draw. If Trump wasn''t the son of Fred, he'd likely be homeless. He was born with a golden spoon in his mouth. He got a massive monthly allowance from age 3 until daddy's death. Dad signed all of his bank loans when Trump was flailing and failing as a RE magnate and casino operator, declaring bankruptcy 6 times (something not afforded non-golden spoon kids.). Trump got an additional $412,000,000 when daddy died, and almost went belly up again, except he was saved from penury by Mark Burnett and his Game Show. Trump would have been capable of maybe being a truck driver or pouring Slurpies at a highway 7-11, if not for his dad.

While Trump fails, Carney outsmarts him once again
If Trump survives another 3.5 years of KFC buckets, Big Macs and canckles, he will likely do enough damage that he'll ask Carney if the US can become the 11th Province. Look at the fine print on Trump's supposed great tariff deals. Even the UK deal says it's a platform for discussion and the last line is that nothing in the platform is binding. Well, that's not entirely true...Trump did impose the rates, so everything American consumers buy from abroad will be rising 15-40%. US companies bit the bullet initially, assuming or hoping TACO would TACO. They can no longer hold off raising prices. Ford is unlikely to be willing to take another $800,000,000 quarterly hit due to Trump's tariffs. Heck, Proctor & Gamble said in their conference call they have to raise prices. Even among MAGAnistas, I don't think soap and shampoo and toothpaste are "discretionary items", though I may be wrong. Noting the number of teeth on display at the typical Trump rally, I'm not sure toothpaste is an essential. Let's see what prices have fallen since Trump took over again....hmmm....oh yea, existing home prices are falling. Trump NFT prices are falling. Not much else is down, but some things are skyrocketing, like Trump's disapproval rating.

Trump's morals? I'm surprised putting those two words in the same sentence did not initiate the Apocalypse. I would be willing to bet the four horsemen are putting on the saddles, however. Admittedly I lack Trump's morals. I never set up a fake charity and used donations to commission a painting of myself. Never set up a sham "university". Never stole boxes of classified documents. Never listed my condo at 200% larger than it is, nor claim "give or take $200,000,000" of its supposed value when applying for a bank loan or insurance. I didn't end the Rwandan genocide in 1994, but at that time I wasn't defaulting on junk bonds and stiffing banks. I never had my caddy toss a ball behind him in the short grass, pretending I didn't snap hook into the rough or the water. I don't claim a handicap of 2 when pro golfers estimate his HC at 15. I never paid a porn star $130,000 to keep her mouth shut. I never invited Holocaust denier Nick Fuentes into my home for dinner. I never think it's a man's right to grab women by their little kitten, and I never assaulted a woman in a Dept Store (a civil jury ruled on the evidence that Trump did).

While Trump fails, Carney outsmarts him once again
Your messiah is so upset about a joke Obama told at a WCD gala more than a decade ago, that he's still trying to get back. In the intervening period the clown made up the Birther story and tried to undue everything Obama did (although he did take false credit for things Obama did that remained quite popular). It's also your messiah who stays up all night whining on his Truth Social when somebody who might not even be of political importance says something critical of him, whether that's Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen, Jimmy Kimmel, Charlemagne tha God, Sen Warren, etc.

Perhaps Trump is in your head, because OP's post was largely about Canada, and what Canada is doing to obviate Trump's silliness and ignorance. Canada's actions are a new topic, as nothing as detailed as the OP's post about Canada has been posted. Yes, it peripherally involves Trump, because his stupidity is what led to Canada's actions, and the fact Trump's Carnival People Administration lacks the brains to advise Trump what other nations might do. I'm certainly glad I don't live in Alaska, because whether goods come by boat or via the Yukon, prices are going to rise. I guess Trump never looked at a map and noticed there's a big piece of Canada sitting between the Continental 48 and Alaska. Alaskan oil is also going to become more expensive, since parts for drilling and the pipeline are going to cost more, getting to Alaska either by boat or taxed crossing into Canada on the land route.

Tensions Rise as Govt Denies Army Beheading Rumours
Anyone surprised that many Thais believe this disinformation should reflect on his or her own country and people. In my country, around 30% believe in the QAnon nonsense. The US has everything from 9-11 "Truthers" to "Lunartics" (so-called fake moon landing) to believers in some absurdity called the Deep State, to Flat Earthers. Many also believe a certain political figure who says little other than lies. One has to cut the Thais some slack, especially those who live in or originate from border provinces like Surin, Buriram and Si Sa Ket. War is scary. It jumbles the mind, and the mind wants answers and/or outrage. Folks also tend to want to claim the moral high ground, and one sure way to do that is to dehumanize "others". I suspect half of Americans think everyone from south of the border is either a rapist or murderer, maybe both, when the reality might be .0001%. That in a time of sudden and surprising conflict, it is human nature to cling to absurdities, as many Thai are doing now.

The US economy is hurting even more now
Would those be Trump's "statistics" (Cue the famous Mark Twin quote). Inflation, by the number used by the Federal Reserve to measure the rate (Personal Expenditures Consumption Price Index) came in at 2.6% last month, well above the Fed inflation target rate of 2%. Long term UE (more than 27 weeks unemployed) has grown by 300,000 since March. The jobs numbers....well, that's now an old story of a petulant child shooting the messenger. Manufacturing jobs have fallen every month since May, and construction jobs are flat. Core GDP---a complex calculation that accounts for inventory differences, seasonal factors, etc.---was down in Q2, despite the headline number recovering from the -.5% of Trump's 1st Quarter. Many companies, during their earnings conference calls, have said they will be forced to raise prices due to the tariffs, so the real effect of the highest tariffs since the Great Depression and Smoot-Hawley have yet to fully kick in. Whistle past the graveyard if it makes you feel good, but reality bites hard when it closes its jaws on those who project Biden's booming economy into an endless future. That +2.8% 4th Q 2024 GDP gain is fading into the background of tariffs and mismanagement.

US banks refuse Trump's business
Trump whinged yesterday, when he signed a new EO about banking, that banks like JP Morgan and BoA "discriminated against him. The EO deals with, among other things, discrimination based on religious beliefs. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that does not mean Moslems or Sikhs, but rather Born Again White Jeebus types. In any event, for all his many faults, Trump is not a Jeebus freak. A blasphemer per that Christian definition, yes, but in any way religious, no. It's just possible that banks chose to avoid a guy who's declared 6 bankruptcies. I don't know, but that kind of suggests irresponsibility and a poor business sense, especially given he stiffed banks and junk bond buyers because he bankrupted businesses where fools line up to give you their money. Or it could be banks realized Trump isn't exactly honest, or maybe not so skilled of a real estate magnate. After all, he "miscalculated" the square footage of his own condo by 200% in his loan applications, claiming 30,000+ sf when in reality it's a shade under 11,000sf. His finance chief also said, under oath he mis-estimated (sic) the condo's value in his loan application by 'give or take $200,000,000'. Well, no place in Manhattan has even sold for $200,000,000, so the overage is so severe banks could be excused for thinking he might be lying, or just an idiot.

After a Lag, U.S. Consumers Begin to Feel the Pinch of Tariffs
One can live in the real world, or be a MAGAnista and worship the endless lies and hyperbole spewing from Trump's gaping maw. Inflation? Well, let's see what the Fed tends to use to judge the level. That would be the Personal Consumption Expenditure Price Index. For June, it was up +2.6%, well above the Fed target of 2%. How about listen to Earnings Calls of companies reporting.....both Proctor and Gamble and Adidas announced they have to raise prices, so those PCEP numbers look to rise more, especially as the tariffs take hold. Jobs? We saw how the petulant child dealt with that last week: fire the messenger and fabricate some moronic story about "political" and "rigged". Long term UE? Those on UE for longer than 6 months climbed by 300,000 since March. Trump ran on many things, such as bringing prices down on Day 1 (grocery prices are up since January 20, 2025), ending all wars, and bringing manufacturing jobs back. Manufacturing jobs have fallen every month since May. (Prices are up and wars continue apace). Growth? One has to look into the details to see this is not good either. Companies ran down inventories in the second quarter (which will have to be replaced eventually), and because imports are a negative to GDP, it made Q2 look better than reality. Business investment actually dropped in the second quarter and what is called "Core" GDP actually fell (too complex to explain to the low IQ MAGAnistas). Oh, and wage growth is slowing---particularly in the lower income demographic, which is Trump's primary base of support---and low wage earners/subprime borrowers are adding on lots of new debt. If anyone remembers correctly, that did not turn out so well in 2008 under Bush II. To make matters worse, businesses are only going to get more confused with time. The tariffs are on again/off again, and many of the so-called "deals" are still only non-binding platforms for further discussion. Economic data released by this Potemkin Administration in the future will be questioned because of Trump's outrage at the actual job numbers released and revised last week. When Chinese numbers are more believable, you know the US is quickly approaching Third World status in terms of government shenanigans. Only MAGAnistas, those folks who are rather math illiterate---believe Trump can lower drug prices "1500%". Though that is an absurdity on its own, lowering prices will be even more difficult when two primary nations providing ingredient input for drugs---India and China---are subject to huge tariffs. But hey, MAGAs cannot be heretics or blasphemers. If their messiah says "best economy ever", it's Gospel. If he tells them they will have so much money they won't even know what to do with it (my guess is it will be suggested they load up on Golden Sneakers, China-printed autographed Bibles, Trump meme coins, Chinese-made Trump watches, etc.), they will hit the Ford website and start configuring the F-150 with monster tires and cabin gun rack they always wanted....all while waiting in the unemployment line.

Will Trump's "war on facts" eventually catch up with him?
Not sure if it's his "war on facts", or Epstein, or the tariffs, or jobs numbers, or maybe even his constant crybaby whining, but the latest polls show he is dropping across the board. What was once his bread and butter, or bucket of extra crispy---men---has seen a 9 point drop since April. He scores poorly on every issue now. Perhaps his whining, his obesity, his wild tangents, or something else has made him not seem so "manly". At around a 39% approval among males, it does seem he still holds the Incel demographic, as (per NYU Bi Prof Scott Galloway), Incels in the us (as defined by men who've never had carnal relations by age 30) is now 33%. Of course, MAGAnistas will criticize this poll because it's from YouGov UMassAmherst, a blue State...though the poll was nationwide. Approve Disapprove Inflation 31% 63% Immigration 41% 54% Jobs 37% 55% Tariffs 31% 63% Overall Approval Among Men April 48% Now 39% https://www.umass.edu/news/article/new-national-umass-amherst-poll-finds-president-trumps-job-approval-gap-slides-6

Maxwell Clears Trump: DOJ Considers Releasing Interview
Yea, works for me. Someone convicted of both perjury and aiding and abetting pedophilia is the "honest person" Diogenes sought while carrying his lantern. Only Gospel comes out of her mouth. Absolutely. Clearly she has nothing to gain from being less than truthful. /sarc

Maxwell Clears Trump: DOJ Considers Releasing Interview
Yes, I can see why something as "harmless" as pedophilia wouldn't bother a MAGAnista....well, unless it concerns Hillary and the basement of a basement-less pizza restaurant in DC. No doubt I'm dead wrong, but I suspect females who were abused by grown men and powerful men might be a bit hesitant to have it all dragged through the mud again. I note that one prominent victim who did come forward, Virginia Giuffre, ending up taking her own life. Can you imagine such abuse might leave scars? No, I guess not. MAGANistas are REAL men, as "manly" as their obese crybaby messiah.

Trump’s Odd Speeches Raise New Doubts About His Mental Acuity
Gee, and neither would I want to be you, nor anyone who thinks Trump is anything more than a lying, self-serving, demented, obese, vindictive, misogynistic, racist, woefully ignorant clown. Thank Zeus I'm none of the above. Oh, and Trump was disparaging US citizens who happened to have come from Haiti. It was, as usual, nonsense and racist.
-
Trump’s Odd Speeches Raise New Doubts About His Mental Acuity
He did it again last weekend regarding the comedian and social commenter Charlemagne tha God. He's kind of an equal opportunity racist, however. Yes, Blacks originated from "<deleted> hole" countries. Everybody south of the border is either a murderer or rapist. Haitians eat your pets.

Armageddon
Mankind has manufactured something on the order of 6000 different religions. If you're playing Pascal's Wager, that means you've got a .0167% chance of picking the right one. Not good odds. Might as well enjoy all the vices your senses can experience, hell be damned. In any event, AI is going to destroy us before any 'final battle'. I cannot help but wonder if the reason we haven't actually been visited by aliens is because every advanced civilization in the 200,000,000,000 galaxy Universe eventually invented AI, and it killed them. Even if AI doesn't kill us, it is going to change society in ways almost unimaginable a century ago. Almost every job will be taken over by AI. Many people will lose meaning. Some will turn to violence for its adrenaline effect. Knowledge will be for knowledge sake only, because there will be nothing any human can do with knowledge that AI won't be able to do better. We won't need any universities, or if we have them, they will be free and folks will just study for fun. 99.99% of the people will get UBI (universal basic income), and a very select few will have enormous wealth and control every aspect of society. They will become like the gods humans have invented, because all they will need is endless thanks and adoration. What is Sam Altman going to do when he's a trillionaire? He will want everyone to worship him for altering humanity more than anyone, even more than Genghis Khan. If you want a real Armageddon, it's AI and the precious few people who control it. They have no conscience and no moral compass. 80 years ago a group of similarly brilliant people changed humanity for all time, but they had a moral compass. They knew the danger of what their minds were creating, and tried to warn the self-serving powers-that-be of the risk. Of course they were ignored. The guys doing the analogous effort today, like Altman and Musk and others, really don't care how dangerous their invention might be. They just want endless wealth and adoration. They will, if they do not already, fancy themselves as deities.

Tired of the fake news? Want the TRUTH,News
It's not the same ABC that frightens you. Zerohedge was founded by a Bulgarian immigrant named Dan Ivandjiiski. His father was an asset of the former Bulgarian secret police the Darzhavna Sigurnost. His father is famous for being a conspiracy theorist, too, as he claims the moon landings were fake. Dan used to work on Wall Street in a small firm, but was banned for life for insider trading. In his trading crime, he made a total of $680. Hardly a master criminal. Dan is a big fan of the movie Fight Club, and uses the name Tyler Durden in his online personna. His site caters to conspiracy theorists and has been rumored to be funded by RT.
