  1. Their actions and content on youtube are far superior to your actions here. Live and let live. You only need concern yourself with yourself.
  2. the ultimate premium cabin on intercontinental flights isn't always first class. Many airlines call their best premium cabin business class, and don't have first class at all. Airlines that do have first class may not offer it on every aircraft type or every flight.
  3. From my experience in Chaeng Wattana, you can get an extension of Non O / Non OA with THB 65,000 or more monthly deposits for 12 months; however, to convert a visa exempt or tourist visa to a Non O, only THB 800,000 in a Thai bank is acceptable (or a income verification from your embassy which most no longer do); the monthly transfer is non accepted for the initial Non O.

  5. Just an update of sorts. My landlord tried to file a new TM30 but he couldn't get it completed; it kept erroring out. I went to Chaeng Wattana and was waiting in queue (no appointments available online). A man before me was turned away due to something about his TM30; I couldn't hear the full conversation. Once I got to the desk, she saw my copy of my two year old TM30 in my clear folder and asked to see it. She did accept my 90 day report. I was going to ask about the online rejection but the queues were too long and I also did a reentry permit. I will leave Thailand 13Feb to April 24. My landlord will try to do the TM30 online again. If unsuccessful, we will go back to Chaeng Wattana and inquire. Such a farce.
  6. I filed online my 2nd 90 day report; however, I got the email respone that my report was rejected and I should update my TM30. I report to Bangkok Chaeng Wattana. I have not changed my address for 10 years, and I have not left the country since my last 90 day report. Any ideas why they are requiring an updated TM 30 ?
  7. The TM47 is titled "Form for alien to notify of staying longer than 90 days" not reporting.
  8. Not such a simple question since I am getting contradictory answers
  9. Thank you for your reply, but my question has nothing to do about extension. If my entry to Thailand is 01 Jan 23, then my first 90 day report is 01 Apr 23. If I do my report a week early on 27Mar23. My question is the 2nd 90 day report 90 days after 27Mar or 90 days after 01 Apr?
  10. I did a search but I did not find an answer. If I do my first 90 day report one week early, is my next 90 day report due 90 days after my report date or 180 days of my entry into Thailand. Thanks for any clarification.
  11. Please be aware that Chaeng Wattana and other immigrations do not accept the 12 months of THB 65,000 transfers to convert from a tourist visa or visa exempt to a Non-O. They do accept 12 X THB 65,000 for an extension but not the initial Non O. I ran into this 2 years back when returning from a COVID lockout.

  13. Many Thais join the sex trade industry because they have few options due to poor public school education and low wages.
  14. Thailand public education desperately needs to be improved. The departing regime has done nothing to improve education.
  15. When comparing transfer costs of different companies, the fees AND the exchange rate mudt be considered. Some companies give 3 to 6 % less in exchange...including Western union
  16. If you are fed up with corruption in Thailand, have your Russian wife share stories of her homeland. At lesst Thailand has not waged war on a neighboring country.
  17. I do it every year without an agent for the last 13 years...never an issue.
  18. Please be aware that some Thai immigrations will NOT issue a non O based on 12 months of THB 65,000. They require either THB 800,000 in a Thai bank account or an Embassy letter (if uour country issues). The THB 65,000 for 12 months is ok for a Non O extension but not a new Non O. I had this issue at Chaeng Wattana.
  19. I hope you are wrong. Enough of the old regime. The Thai people deserve better.
  20. By your definition, Fox news and their viewers would be "woke" ; however, they are certainly not.
  21. I think you missed the other part of his original text saying he would leave Thailand and then try to reenter Thailand before he returns home.
  22. Life is never perfect, glitches and complexity are inevitable.
  23. You should also check the exchange rate, it is often 3% or lower than WISE resulting in higher fees
  24. If you contact WISE and have them tag your account and select "longterm stay", it shows as a foreign transfer. If there is a glitch, then you can get a statement from the intermediary bank (FET) which Thai immigration will accept for yearly extensions. There is a WISE forum on Facebook which can answer specific questions. Just search "WISE (former Transferwise)"
