  1. I worked on a Camaro Z28 that did similar, the cause was a front brake hose had expanded internally, near blocking of fluid movement, it was quite scary on the test drive...????
  2. Well, serious brake fade could have happened if they kept their foot on the brakes for a very long period instead of using the engine and gears to reduce the need for excessive brake pressure..
  3. Then tweak it, it's not rocket science.....???? I have fitted 2 now, no probs....
  4. The only prob I had with the drain I recommend, is finding one the same size as the one you're going to replace, I didn't want to mess about with angle grinding the tiles, I eventually found one.....????
  5. You missed my post then....????...............????
  6. Mine doesn't have a spring to rust away or clog up, it has a counterweight that keeps it closed until the weight of running water overcomes it... High tech eh.....????
  7. I replaced the shower drain with one that has a trap door, it opens with the water weight and remains closed at all other times. No bugs, no smell... All made from stainless steel and way better than the ones that rely on water seal.....
  8. My friend has no earths in his house electricity circuitry. I noticed he had this stainless steel cooker with three pin plug, plugged into a two pin extension lead. I said that is dangerous, you need the earth to have half a chance against electrocution, he said, ...."Well its been alright for ten years"..... ???? PS. I even offered to earth the kitchen stuff, but no....
  9. Air does not get into the braking system, water gets into the braking system via the reservoir fluid. If it were a sealed system, it would not need a reservoir... ????
  10. But, it was your usage of that vehicle, your perception of the pedal feel, you're not knowing what's going on inside your ride....A lot of your's...????
  11. So what was the ride and year of the bloke I was replying too, remind me...?
  12. Yep, I even put early day electronic ignition on British Leyland stuff, it was OK. My 1976 Pontiac had electronic ignition from factory, no ECU though... My old 1988 Volvo had an ECU, ignition, injection and even the climate control was auto controlled...Brill...
