    Finnair was the only company NOT serving free alcohol (at prices roughly the same as uranium). I checked this later. My complaints earned me some points in their club which I have already withdrawn my membership from. I sat for 14 hours with my overhead bag between my knees because there was no room. Aged 80 this left me with severe cramp.

    On one of my honeymoons in Mexico my new bride went for a swim in the Pacific an hour after landing; her wedding ring fell off. I borrowed a metal detector & searched for hours in vain. The police report was sufficient to ensure our insurance paid for a better ring.

    I think you have misread my statement. I lump poor policing, wild dogs and treating women as 2nd class citizens as evidence that Thailand is a Banana Republic.
