  1. What colossal numbers to achieve very little but to tarnish Thailand's reputation!
  2. 'integrity agile' - does this mean his integrity is quick to move. There's no Thai business men/women with the above qualifications AKA 'hindrances' in trade circles.
  3. A dog would bring this down more easily. Surely everyone (except the Thai Government,) can see that the problem here is the sheer numbers of wild dogs. Besides accidents, often fatal; infections, sometimes fatal; there is the problem of dog dirt/urine everywhere. After the Covid precautions of disinfecting hands/temperature checks in shops/compulsory mask wearing; why do Thais allow this Mediaeval practice to continue?
  4. I think you are confusing him with someone who has a conscience. All Thai police have this removed on entry to the force.
  5. Thai voters have the memory of a goldfish and will follow the prevailing current of baht notes on the ballot paper.
  6. These guns will be useless in Bangkok.
  7. Lieland. Pie-in-the-Skyland. Or as Trump calls it, 'Thighland'.
  8. Well said. The do-gooders appeal for money to contribute to this massive waste of time, effort and resources. Any dog out in public not on a lead should be killed; until Thailand grasps this nettle it will continue to be a primitive country.
  9. not allergic to dog bites; do not use their lungs to breathe; do not use the roads.
  10. tot up his pension pot and prioritise those areas which will give the best return.
  11. Since when has fairness been a factor in Thailand (not just in politics)? Wealth counts for more.
  12. The least safest place in the world for money is a Thai police station.
  13. The police station, AKA Den of Iniquity, is open all day minting money from traffic tickets. I have attended there before midnight to find the place deserted.
  14. Most Thais will deny ownership if a medical bill is looming. If you kill a dog in your car, multiple owners will emerge looking for compensation. I love & hate threads about dogs because it's all about owners. 70 years ago dogs were allowed to roam free with horrific consequences. We mocked Elizabethans for emptying their potties on to the pavement whilst puzzling over the spread of infectious diseases. A prestigious newspaper calculated 6 tons of dog <deleted> hit the street every year + 1 million gallons of dog urine a every day. If Thailand wants to be considered a step up from the Elizabethans, it should euthanize all strays.
  15. They might have assumed it was just another dust-up between Thai youth gangs. The fact that this was a one-on-one fight dispels this notion.
  16. Is this contract like the one for re-supplying sand to the disappearing beach twice a year?
  17. Agreed. I regularly collected the payroll for our Mooban employees from this bank. I did this monthly for more than five years. Each time I was treated as a terrorist with objections about the colour of pen used to sign the cheques.
  18. Thai senators deny knowledge/friendship with the accused; well they would, wouldn't they? Is this a sign that Thailand is at last getting a police force?
  19. I wonder how long this one will last & will he become unusually wealthy in the meantime?
  20. I bet there was a lot of pointing but of course no action, particularly by the police. How easy can it be; a big plastic notice saying 'any bikes here tomorrow will be confiscated.' It's the same with speeding/red light running; cameras identify the culprits; police leave their offices to do their job.
  21. The real reason the drones are being bought (besides the commissions); to spy on dissenters.
