  1. For the last 20 or so years we have designed and manufactrred (yes right here in The Kingdom) The Best Damn Reverse Osmosis Systems in the Whole World.

Very few do we sell in Thailand, over a 1000 units have been designed, manufactured and shipped to other countries, oil rigs, vessles.

With all the Water problems here in Thailand it our toughest market to sell in.

With the lack of rain especially here on Samui, well are now starting to go dry, There is no magic well under Samui, no rain, no water!

No one seems to care, until they don't have water.

The same old problem to many people using to few or limited resources.

Recyceling and conservation of our resources is non existant, reuse of "grey water" for gardening, reusage of "Back Wash Water" from filters.

No one seems to care until it is to late!

  2. I am a Professional, Degreed Engineer with a Work Permit and Company Registered for well over 20 years here in Thailand.

I basically have no restriction placed against me in my profession, Corporation and Respect with my Thai counterpart goes a long way

But restrictions,! Professionalism, Credibility, Mutual Trust is all that's needed!

It is easy to be legal here, just follow the rules, not many are new, they are just enforcing ones (rules) that have been on the books but never implemented before.

Over the years I have done the renewals, visas, work permits my self, no lawyer, no agent, only my Thai Partner and Translator.

I have never had a problem, just follow the rules and keep up with the changes.

Know your rights under the law, Yes we do have them and I have used them on occasion.

As the lawyers would say "Due Diligence" a vital part of every profession.

  3. 99% the fuse is in the neutral line. Common older practice here in Thailand and a good way to get a nasty shock.

install a proper breaker in place of the knife switch, get rid of the fuse it is dangerous to have multiple disconnect devices in the same line.

  4. www.granitedigital.com

Great info, prices, explanations and they ship to Thailand.

I have recovered 3 supposedly bad batteries with their charger.

Maintenance free batteries, look at youtube videos how to add water.

I have had my truck battery in-place 5 years, it is still like new.

  5. Every skill and the knowledge that goes with them have been available here in Thailand for many, many years.

We are the retired, the married with families, who live here in Thailand.

You don’t need to import anyone, just use what you have here.

40 years ago you education was important in obtaining a Non B visa, now it’s all about MONEY.

In my 30+ years here in “The Kingdom” I was listed on original work permit as a Teacher as well as a Professional Engineer. My work area we “All of Thailand” . Visa renewal was a snap, I did it myself.

My company put 3 of our Thai Employees through university , but none of them work for Thai Companies, why as they have told I am not allowed to think or question, only sign the documents.

Working for foreign companies allow them freedom to learn, question and most of all THINK, they encourage continuing education and they pay well.

We also held weekly training sessions for our employees, with intensives for improvements in both job proficiencies and English language skills.

It worked and worked well, trust me Thais can learn, if the environment and intensive are there.

Over the years my employees moved on, married, went home, but most still call and keep in touch with me, and that is almost 50 of them.

Now many of these available resources are spending most of their time jumping through hoops, trying to keep up with the almost daily changes or more likely the “Whims” of the local officials.

Our time is spent trying to figure ways to get around the ridiculous rules and other B.S. put in our path at almost every turn.

When I first came to “The Kingdom” they wanted Educated, Professional people to help develop “The Kingdom”.

Paper work was very stringent, education, references, technical abilities. That has all gone out the window it seems.

Thailand put your long neglected resources to work, we are here, we are ready.

We have established Professionalism, Knowledge and Pride in our accomplishments.

Most of our Credibility is beyond reproach, if not Check-It.

Why waste talent you have at your finger tips, us what you have here, most of us have a proven track record in “The Kingdom”.

  6. Yes it kills everything.

HIV, Staff, MSRA, Look it up. the thing about topical anti-bacterial is contact time, take's time in contact the the organism, each is different

This is what the surgeons coat your skin with before they operate.

Washes off easily so must be reapplied often, a great preventive for an open wound until professional treatment can be received.

BETADINE® Solution is an aqueous solution of 10% povidone-iodine. It is a fast-acting, broad-spectrum antiseptic that helps reduce bacteria that potentially can cause skin infection. It is used for degerming skin, wounds and mucous membranes, and for preoperative skin preparation of patients.

The best 32 baht you'll ever spend.

  7. Tourism worldwide is down.

Thailand is doing well by international standards

The Martial Law isn't effecting anything, but maybe the low cost tour companiess who have minimal insurance group coverage.

Additional coverage is available at the airport for Tourists, if needed.

tourists should check there coverage before they leave home.

As we know most don't bother to even get travel insurance.

99.99 percent of tourists don't know The Kingdom" is under martial law.

  8. Every time I or my partner fly, we get flue like symptoms a few days later.

Have checked this over 2 year period, No flying for a month or so, not sick!

Over the last 6 months the symptoms have been worse and take longer to go away.

Rest and lots of water seem to be the best cure, but now take longer!
