  1. Plastic pipes? Happens to many people. Earth movement. Pipe joint broken under the house. I had to put new pipes along the walls in a shophouse. I have done the same thing in an apartment: 20+years galvanized pipes full of rust.
  2. I bought HAIER in May, and I'll never buy another expensive Japanese brand: https://aseannow.com/topic/1256688-air-conditioner-recommendations/
  3. New air cond. / 6 months cleaning First time I see a guy removing almost all the parts for just a cleaning! He left only the evaporator coil and his wife spray washed everything outside. Exactly 40 minutes from the time they arrived to the time they left.
  4. Curtain with a thick fabric
  5. Internet: I'm wondering if people still use ADSL or if Fiber has been installed everywhere in Bangkok and elsewhere...? Do you use ADSL ? Your location? Thank you.
  6. Just before the spin cycle, spread your clothes inside so they don't form heavy balls
  7. Labor 2,500 in May My comments about brands + pics: https://aseannow.com/topic/1256688-air-conditioner-recommendations/
  8. I posted this one a few months ago: https://aseannow.com/topic/1328436-valve-off-inside-wall-on-bathroom/?do=findComment&comment=18948917
  9. Open the front cover of the indoor unit, remove the filters and you will see ice on the evaporator during self-clean. It takes 20 - 25' on my Haier Inverter. Not much information on the internet... I do the self-clean once a month and clean the filters 3 times/month. Planning to call the guy every 6 months for complete cleaning.
  10. Was it making ice on the evaporator?
  11. I broke my MTB frame. I found a nearly new bike at less than half the original price on Marketplace Bangkok. I installed my own parts on that new bike.
  12. The repairman recommended Haier. Very good choice; very cheap, quiet, and self-clean function (reduces mold growth and eliminates odors on the evaporator). Google: . "Haier is a leading enterprise in the Chinese household appliance industry" . (in 2016) "General Electric announced that it agreed to sell its appliance division to the Haier Group for $5.4 billion, putting one of America's best-known brands in the hands of one of China's largest companies."
  13. Haier 18,000 BTU inverter installed in May. Perfect! I do a self-clean once a month ("self-clean function on Haier reduces mold growth and eliminates odors") and I clean the filters 3 times a month. I'll call the guy to clean everything twice a year.
