Prevent new reds from entering the area and let's see how long they protest without access to food and water.
Very good idea!
-
"I don't know who [the men in black] are but I thank them for without them, many red shirts would have been killed," she said.
The sad irony is is that if the black goons had not been there, there would have been no bloodshed.
-
LOL, so when are sources required on TV? Especially from the Red apologists?
Well I realize why you are so cranky mate... BTW how is the noise level these days outside your flat, not sure you have updated us on it in a while?
I have no idea who you are talking about. I live on the outskirts of town, nice village, 4 bedroom house. You have me confused with someone else!
-
^tell that to the lad who lost half his head.
Ask Thaksin why he ordered that red to be killed by his own goons....
Source?

Why are they so hel_l bent on trying to provoke more bloodshed? The reds get goonier every day. Creeps, thugs and murderers.
Because they'd rather die than carry on being treated like the useless turds you consider them to be?
I calls them as I sees them. They don't want to die, as is obvious with all of their whining after the fact. They do want their 500 Baht a day pay though from Thaksin, and will do what they need to do to get it...

Red-shirt supporter punches deputy minister
A red-shirt supporter punched Deputy Agriculture Minister Supachai Phosu in the ear Wednesday while he was visiting constituents in Nakhon Phanom to mark Songkran.
Supachai's entourage was followed by some 30 red shirts led by a local politician, who kept criticising the deputy minister through a sound system fitted in a pickup truck.

Why do they need to provoke violence...? Why are they so hel_l bent on trying to provoke more bloodshed? The reds get goonier every day. Creeps, thugs and murderers.

^all is not what it seems, many layers to this onion!
Pretty clear to me....and you continue your backpedal into the sunset.
-
^not surprising Publicus, you know as well as I do that are many forces at work here other than the obvious.
What I just don't get is why you hard core Thaksin/Red Shirt apologists now backpedal from the explicit statements of the red army that they are there to spill blood, kill and/or maim government representatives, cause chaos, burn down Bangkok, derail the light rail with passengers on it, etc. etc. etc. These kinds of statements are all very well documented in many many speeches given by the reds over the last few weeks.
I find it fascinating that now that the reds got their wish through their own devious intentions that they go wailing about the consequences of their threatening statements.
You play, you pay!

Thaksin isnt a dangerous psychopath, he is just a man seeking justice
Nah, he's really nuts, Idi Amin nuts. I predict mass genocide when and if Thaksin assumes the head of nation. He needs the pressure released from his skull.
-
I listened to them on Monday and never even heard the name all afternoon from the stage, hardly any images of him around either, heard the speeches this afternoon on the radio, same.
He's trying to distance himself from the reds he ordered killed to start the class war.

Regarding changing sides you may readt http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/Thai-Ministe...ll-t355955.html. Thank you Thaivisa!
This guy just earned a huge respect from me.
The tide is turning. I would go until stating that the red / yellow problem would not exist if real freedom of expression and speak would exist in Thailand. Thais living in constant fear of what can not be discussed.
Which was far worse under Thaksin's regime!
-
One thing is clear: The rotten establishment must and will go. The simple Thais became more educated and are not willing anymore to be the slaves of a bunch of 100 000 people or so of the elite.
More intellectuals and even government officials will change side. //deleted//
Sounds like you were a fan boy of Pol Pot?
-
Far more impressive, noble and respectable than the yellow shirts who are rich and from next door.
Anyway, more and more Bangkokians become Reds in the sois (at least in my Chatuchak area).
Well, he's making 500 Baht ++ a day in BKK, plus all the ya dong he can drink at night I suppose. Hard choice for him?

I have 5000+ songs. Finding one by song title, or artist, takes half a second in itunes. I can create playlists, sync playlists automatically to the mp3 player. I can merge artists that are the same but with different spellings in seconds (edit multiple items). I can if I have to manually name songs very efficiently (next button on song info). I can create themed playlists, like 1980ies songs. Or 1990ies. Or any other smart playlists, say only songs with 4 or more stars, or only the 500 most played songs, or only the newest etc. I am not even using the genius or party shuffle features - maybe they're good, I don't know. I have loads of podcasts. Importing is a snap.
Have to agree.....I didn't like iTunes at first, because I didn't understand it. After spending a couple weeks with it, I realized how powerful it is as a great way to database and access your music.
Haha, I sound like such an apple fan boy, funny thing is that I've never owned a mac before. My my I do love the iPods and iPhone though!
-
I've put in time with iTunes myself trying to help a friend with his iPod. It was quite enough for me to decide I'd never, ever let that crap onto one of MY machines.
And I'm totally happy just quickly dragging and dropping files into my MP3 player from my music folder, using a good file manager, as all my music is organized there well enough. The selection and copying cannot be faster.
If you take the time to learn iTunes, it is incredible at organizing your music database. I have about 100 gigs of music, and keep it in an external hard drive, as well as all on my iPod. I can very easily search out any particular song, artist, album, whatever in seconds...sure it takes a little prep for files, when you first plop an album into iTunes you can very quickly categorize it on as few or many different levels of labeling, all very easy to do.
Again, I do not auto-sync my songs, I manually arrange everything, because I have certain preferences which the auto-sync doesn't fit for me. To control it myself then was just the unchecking of two tick boxes on the main page.
Also, I can say I've never bought any music from iTunes, the only thing I've gotten from there is apps for my phone. Never any problem with any MP3s getting on to my phone though. Also, for almost any video format, you can use an open source program called Handbrake to convert vid files to iPod or iPhone format....very easy to do.
I too was hesitant to accept iTunes, but for music it is now my defacto player. For vids, GOM player.
-
I'm using the Samsung Candy/corby, works great, my only mp3 player now.
Too lazy to drag around anything else.
I have an iPod (120 gig) for my main music machine. Seems to run forever. Half way full and many thousands of songs.
-
Battery life is bad when you use mp3 options on most phones.
good point, I get about 4 hours out of mine, luckily when I was on a long 'plane journey it was a Boeing 777 and it had power points.
The alternative is to have another fully charged battery. I've never had a dedicated MP3 player so I don't know what the average battery life is
My iPhone has 20 hours + if you are just using the audio player. Trouble is with the iPhone it's a gaming device, a reader, and a dozen other things, so playing with it so much can zap the batteries in 6-7 hours. But just listening to music, it will last a long long time.
-
What I do not like about the Iphone player is (in this case, Itunes) it does compilations on its own and I cannot place certain mp3s in their own folders. Itunes does a great job screwing any orderly added files.
Hmmmm, that's strange. I manually manage my MP3s and vids, so I can arrange things how I want. I thought that was one of the good things about iTunes, that you can easily make playlists, or organize any set of songs under different categories or such so that they are easy to find and play.

^looked like a special forces sniper from behind/above.
Special Red forces, yes. Definitely not against killing their own for political (eg Thaksin's) gain. Mere meat puppets in the eyes of the reds.

Airline tickets out for Farang are increasing in price.
Best to plan your getaways.
After you!

So is it acceptable to shoot 800 people?
Yes or no?
Your silence tells us you say YES.
Sick
If they are trying to derail the BTS with passengers on it, yes!
If they are throwing molotov cocktails into troops, yes!
If they are trying to burn down Bangkok with petrol bombs, yes!
If they are threatening the lives of their fellow Thai citizens, yes!
-
We saw the video clip.
Over 800 killed and wounded in a minute. Thai snipers from the military firing from all sides.
You are OK with this?
Pack up another bowl and suck it down, then let us have another conspiracy theory!
:D

^well the red lad who had top of his head missing - pretty confident it was blown off.
But blown off by who? One of Abhisit's boys or one of Seh Dang's boys?
