Doesn't really matter anyhow cause you can buy alcohol any day you want from the little mom and pop shops. It just affects the restaurants and pubs, and chain stores.

Pity It is all all rotten now now!

It would be nice to know the particular areas where the infection be incurred. As usual, this is not included in any report.

The Shinawatra regime have made their message clear.

Yellow shirts, Red shirts, thats all normal part of Thai politics now and quite acceptable. However this new act of wearing stupid masks which is only designed to provoke and insult, thus stirring tempers by incitement . Must be stopped before it gets out of hand. Ban the wearing of these masks.
Apart from making more trouble, they have no use whatsoever.
Would you prefer squads of military dragging people off who want to protest? Maybe send them to some camps? See how well it worked for the folk in Cambodia in times past.
If the reds can't take other people having ideas different from theirs then they do not belong in a country which (supposedly) has freedom of expression.

Well, these masked people are taunting the red shirts and i think if i was a red shirt i would probably retaliate to this taunting, its only natural. And if they are not trying to make trouble, why are they doing it ?
The V people were taunting nobody. They were holding what looked to be a peaceful protest. The red thugs were the ones to start throwing things at them. Get your facts straight.

Hardly looks like an attack but more like a staged event. You have six people wearing red clothing and one with a mask. Everyone seems to be in party mood with happy smiling faces. Look at the pic, that is definitely staged. The guy in red is smiling and the little woman in the stripes is apparently being held back by the invisible man.
Same group of people.. still look like party mode to you?
Our red shirt lovers here on TV would like to speak up about this? Are you happy to be supporting thugs like that?

I was just turned on to a great free app, Video D/L. It catches your video cache and save everything quick and easy to your pad. There are more features with the pro version that is four bucks. So far the free one works great for me. I downed a bunch of YouTube files and all seamlessly done.

So sad that red shirted thugs are rewarded with billions of baht from a corrupt rice scheme (sorry, farmers, no more cash for you!), and these poor teachers and kids are left with multiple grades in non air on rooms, probably 50 plus to a room. Way to get your priorities straight, Yingluck! Thanks Thaksin for keeping your promise to keep the poor down while you smear them under your Cappicios like the cockroaches you consider them to be.

True, the govt. has way to many Fuc*ups to contend with right now to worry about the World Fair. The billions of tons of rice, rotting in silos, is just one!
Well lets dissect that a moment..... A hair brained idea?the other explanation; it was a hair brained idea to begin with.
However for The Nation, and our resident Thaksin obsessors, that explanation is verboten.
Carry ON
Expo 2000 - Hanover Germany
Expo 2005 - Aichi Japan
Expo 2010 - Shanghai China
Expo 2015 - Milan Italy
What part of hosting a prestigious event like this do you find hair brain?
The enormous amounts of money required to fund an exposition that leaves no long term benefit was harebrained. Oh sure, the boosters of such wanton spending will offer a long list of "benefits". However, here's a reality check. Thailand doesn't have the money to pay for it.
Back in 2009, when the bid was announced, the theme of the event was rolled out to much fanfare; the theme: Balanced Life, Sustainable Living Lets Redefine Globalization. I mean, really? You don't think that theme in and of itself was asinine? Sustainable living in the land of consumerism? Really? Seriously?
The site of the exposition is not well served by mass transit. Just how would all these thousands of visitors get to Ayutthaya? By rail? By bus?
Right. And who wants to commute 2 -3 hours each way? Could Ayutthaya have handled the tourists? I don't think so.
And then there is the small problem of flooding.
This is probably the most intelligent decision the government has made since being elected.
Spot on.
Some people are so obsessed with intent to bash the government at every opportunity that it is seriously affecting their ability to think about any Thai news issue objectively. It's getting beyond tiresome.

Cool photo.
Questionable reporting if it is accurately represented.
The body of the article/post is about heavy rain and flooding.
The text ends with:
"The body of villager Pravit Udom, 58, was recovered after he reportedly went fishing. Authorities learned that he had been shot dead."
Connection please?
the Nation's finest reporters hard at work on that article~! LOL

That would require work!is there a "dengue map" somewhere, summarizing infections and deaths ?

is it free?

I would recommend the application FoxTube - you can download any youtube stuff directly into your ipad. Or get a downloader on your regular com and save them then move them into your ipad. Just make sure to save the MP4 file.
If you download movies from the internet by torrents or such, I would recommend the Cinexplayer, it is 2.99 and plays any kind of video file. You can also categorize your videos and set private folders as well. worth the 3 bucks.
Ipad reads the epub book format. Again, if you know how to use torrents you will be able to find thousands of books at your disposal.
I use my pad constantly, for smoe nice games, reading, watching vids, email, even writing. Get the iawriter app for a great ipad writing experience It's a dollar.

Where are our PTP/Red/Thaksin apologists ready with their excuses and support? Awfully quiet these days. Haha.

If you can convert to a word file click on the images and then in format image choose compress, then choose 96psi. that will still be readable but make the file much smaller.

In a country where:
- ambulances are later than the "body snatchers"
- "body snatchers" are later than the paparazzi
- ambulances pay toll fees on the highway and have to cue for that
- government officials get roads emptied for their little fun trips just to show their power
- an MB can do anything and a pick-up nothing
... there might be some room for improvement; speaking of which makes Thailand a top hit on the list!
Those at the very bottom get nothing really and those at the very top walk on rose petals and never see cars blocking their way.
