  1. We're just waiting for you to admit they exist. ???? I won't be holding my breath.
  2. The rest was fluff. No, it doesn't have a trade deal, and it still does plenty of trade with the US. In fact, the US is the EU's largest trade partner without one. They are un-necessary. Most of the trade around the world is done without trade deals. Biden can threaten us all he wants, we won't change policy on NI because of some vague promise of a trade deal with the US. Biden will be gone long before anything is agreed anyway. He can pontificate all he wants, it won't make any difference to us.
  3. I can't name a single one. Certainly not the UK.
  4. Seems that 71 were queued up. Not too shabby in a couple of years. Plenty more to come. Remainers were saying they'd take decades. Not so. Brexiteers didn't care what the US thought. In fact, Obama saying we were back of the queue for a trade deal probably got Brexit pushed over the line. Thanks Barack, we owe you one.
  5. I've already explained it to you. I can't understand it for you. It's impossible with your ilk.
  6. Of course not. Show me a country that has completely eradicated it.
  7. What about if you send money the other way, like I do? What if you are an exporter? It's not all about you.
  8. Brexit was never about blocking legal immigration. We've had legal immigration since long before the EU. That's just a Remainer/Rejoiner trope. Alive and well I see.????
  9. Probably because Remainers were saying they were essential, that we'd never get any and we'd collapse within 6 months. We've done 71 so far. https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-47213842
  10. You missed the word "illegal". We don't want illegal immigration. Same as Thailand, Australia, and most nations around the world. Trying to stop illegal immigration is not unique to Britain. It's a perfectly normal policy. There is nothing fascistic, racist or nasty about it. It's SOP for governments around the world. Hence the widespread use of passports, border controls etc.
  11. Given that the EU do so much trade with the US without one, why should be afraid of not having one? Joe is trying to use it as a stick to beat us with. Trouble is, the stick is flaccid. And Joe is pointing it in the wrong direction.
  12. Because it isn't. Same as most things, there are upsides and downsides. We knew that when we voted. However, to declare it a failure at this stage would be like declaring the winner of a marathon after the first couple of miles. It took decades for the EU to wrap us up in so much red tape we could barely breathe. It will take several more years before we fully disentangle ourselves from that. But it will be worth it, especially when the EU moves onto ever more integration i.e. the EU Army, more regulations, more eastern bloc countries joining etc. It's not like the EU is going from strength to strength. https://www.euronews.com/my-europe/2022/11/11/europes-record-inflation-will-peak-at-year-end-but-remain-high-in-2023-says-brussels
  13. Trade deals are hugely over-rated. Plenty of countries do huge trade numbers without one. And plenty of countries with trade deals do very little trade at all.
  14. So many, difficult to know where to start. 1. Being out of the failing, undemocratic federalist project that is the EU before it collapses. 2. Getting a head start on the vaccine rollout. 3. Record low unemployment. 4. Being able to hold our own politicians to account without them being able to blame Brussels. 5. Regaining sovereignty. 6. Being able to make our own laws, laws made by our own politicians that were elected by the UK electorate. 7. No longer propping up the economies of Poland, Greece, Hungary with vast net contributions set by Brussels. Oh sorry got carried away, you only wanted 5.
  15. They're not doing a trade deal anyway. They've had years to do one with the EU and never did a proper one. Everyone knows it, so trying to repeatedly use it as a threat is never going to work. No trade deal, no problem. We'll do what we want with NI. Joe can jog on, well, stumble on...
  16. Strawman. A weak one at that. Trump is not my hero. Never was. Never will be. Maybe better argue against my actual opinons as opposed to opinions you have maliciously provided on my behalf, no?
  17. There are plenty of examples to back up what I wrote. Facts are facts, whether you like them or not. I repeat, his age does not concern me. His mental capacity does.
  18. I am not concerned with Biden's age. If he was mentally competent he could be 179 (not only 79) for all I care. However, he is clearly suffering from some form of dementia. As the leader of the US, that is very concerning to me. Anyone who confused Cambodia with Columbia while opening a summit in Cambodia is clearly a very confused man. It's not like it was a one off, it's pretty much a weekly occurence. Last month it was "Where's Jackie?". Jackie was already dead. Beyond embarrassing. I could provide countless other examples. Shaking hands with invisible men for example. Need links? The US will not dictate anything re Northern Ireland. Northern Ireland is part of the UK if you hadn't noticed. The US have already said a trade deal is off the table so they have already played their hand. The UK has no need to bow to them now, despite what Americans would like to think.
  19. When did Biden ever school anyone? He'll probably confuse Ireland with Iran. Just like he just thought Cambodia was Columbia. https://www.newsweek.com/joe-biden-kicks-off-asean-summit-getting-host-country-wrong-1759105 The guy's senile and nobody takes him seriously, least of all the UK PM. Ireland is not his business. We will humour him, then politely send him on his way.
  20. Indeed. The people had their say in a Democratic vote. We voted to leave the failing federalist project and we have left and we will NOT be returning. Of course, Remainers/Rejoiners will blame Brexit for the worldwide recession, the Covid lockdown fallout, the war in Ukraine, climate change etc. for the next 50 years ????.
  21. But then the police wouldn't make a fortune turning a blind eye to it. Same as after hours drinking, prostitution etc. Make laws that are bound to be broken, then take payment for overlooking said laws. Thailand 101.
  22. Pitchfork bearers? ???? Get a grip... There was always insults on Twitter (if that's what you mean by hate speech, I'm not sure as I am not fluent in Woke). It was directed at the right. You obviously wouldn't mind that though...
  23. Personally I am spending much more time on there, and much less time on other platforms. Some of it is absolutely hilarious. I never get posts removed because my political opinion doesn't align with the mods, Lots of different opinions, memes, videos etc. If something offends me, I am free to not look at it. What's not to like?
