NI Protocol: 'Final talks' due between Rishi Sunak and Ursula von der Leyen
JonnyF replied to Scott's topic in World News
Indeed. Sunak appears to have made another important step in disentangling NI from the EU's tentacles. He's not there yet, but one step at a time. Give it another couple of years and then we go again. As the EU continues to weaken, it should be easier to remove NI completely from the tired old grip of the corrupt EU. -

Of course the ECJ is the sole arbiter of EU law. Kind of stating the obvious isn't it? I'm not sure how you deduced from that statement that Britons ever shall be slaves, I guess you are unaware that Britain left the EU and is therefore no longer subject to the ECJ. Of course, that's assuming you are aware that NI is not in Britain...???? -

Definitely an own goal. The view from behind the far post (at 0:15) clearly shows it was going a couple of metres wide. -

Yeah, a bit fortunate with the goals I thought. Casemiro's looked like he pushed the Newcastle defender in the back (also touch and go on the offside) and Rashford's was a fortunate deflection but despite that, they probably deserved to win it overall. -
I go to Cowboy sometimes. It's a good people watching spot and can be quite entertaining. I've been doing so for over a decade. Never had serious issues like this. I've had girls buy themselves 2 drinks when I told them to get one, but that's about it. Nothing serious. When I tell them to take it off the bill, they sheepishly do. I heard Patpong is worse, but I rarely go there so couldn't confirm. Never had issues there on the occasions I've been though...

Pretty much what I said above. It's a bit of a trend. I do understand why people such as yourself find it annoying. It's a bit like when that super cool band that only you and your mates knew about ends up on Top of the Pops with a load of chavs dancing to it. Plus, the more LGBTQ there are, the less "special" it is. If the trend continues then as a straight white male maybe I can be special by the age of 70? That would be awesome. I wouldn't even need to do anything. Just be special by the way i was born, same as the LGBTQ crew. Ok maybe I wouldn't be special. But at least I wouldn't have all 3 of the cardinal sins. Straight, white AND male.????

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle dismiss South Park lawsuit rumour
JonnyF replied to Scott's topic in World News
It's the least bad option IMO, and it would be churlish to ignore the money they bring in via tourism, the soft power around the world, the charity work etc. The problem with it is that Harry could have been first and then we'd be facing a future with a complete plank as head of state. Fortunately, William was born first but I don't like the idea that we essentially rely on luck in terms of who gets the position. Having said that, if Harry was first born he might not have turned out to be such a jealous, spiteful, vindictive brat. He'd still have been intellectually challenged though. -

Off topic, but there are no allegations of Paedophilia against Andrew. Paedophilia relates to sexually abusing children 13 or under. Having consensual sex with a 17 year old in London (there is no proof that he did) is neither illegal nor paedophilia. Again off topic. This thread is about Harry and Meghan and the SouthPark episode. But yes, 67% of the UK support retaining the monarchy. I'd imagine that will rise further with the dignified way they have dealt with Harry and Harry's wife's vindictive campaign of lies. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Republicanism_in_the_United_Kingdom#:~:text=In May 2022%2C ahead of,figure stood firm at 67%. -

Back in reality, their approval rating is dropping like a stone. Obviously Brit haters support what they are trying to do but they are a tiny minority. https://www.skynews.com.au/lifestyle/celebrity-life/meghan-and-harrys-approval-rating-hits-shocking-low-as-couple-becomes-more-disliked-than-even-prince-andrew/news-story/3fe3660766da409ec5adf06190cf56e9 -

No problem at all with Cockney's. Lived there for 3 years. Most Mancunians I know are pretty decent blokes and enjoy a bit of banter without getting all spiteful and vindictive at the drop of a hat. Which is why I have my doubts about you.???? -

Yeah you could be right. I can see Arsenal bottling it though. City probably won't, although you never know when Pep is going to introduce some bizarre new system in key games. -

I bet the goals scored and conceded are different as well. They play at different grounds as well. Different coloured shirts. You're right, a terrible comparison ???????? -

Been following the sport since 78. Played to a decent level as well. I'm not some plastic red who chooses the winning team to support though ????. That drive up the M1 must get tiring ????. -

Good to see I've still got that space available rent free in your head. ???? Just speaking the truth you nob ed. They've been awful the last few years so I said they were awful. Just because that puts sand in your vag is irrelevant to me. They're looking better now so I say they are looking better. You've won nothing for ages. You're like Liverpool after the 80's titles, living on past glories. So yeah, it would be like doing a Leicester in the sense that you're not the best team in the league but if the others all self destruct you could win it by default. Last man standing. I hope you don't. -

I'm starting to think you might be right. They're probably the 3rd best team in England right now. Could they do a Leicester and win the league due to the others throwing it away? Quite possibly... -
Wow. 100% deliberate. And all because he didn't want to get caught with a beer and an e-cigarette which would have been a small fine and 3 points deducted. What an idiot. With driving instructors like that, the daily carnage I see on the roads here is becoming a bit more understandable.

Well, the fact that straight men sometimes pick them up by accident without knowing they are ladyboys tells you that some of them are attractive to straight men. Obviously picking them up knowing they are Ladyboys is different, but since gay men never do that I believe it is a straight thing. If they were gay, why not just pick up a "normal" gay bloke? It's not like there's a stigma to that. It's probably because they are not attracted to "normal" gay blokes, because they are straight. Again, I am prepared to be corrected by one of the gay forum members if they like Ladyboys. But every gay bloke I've spoken to finds them very unattractive and wouldn't even consider going with one. Why? Because they look like women whereas they are attracted to men.
-
Whilst it's certainly not for me (I'm straight) and frankly I avoid them like the plague, any gay man will tell you that attraction to Ladyboys is a straight thing. I've never known a gay man who likes them. I've met quite a few straight blokes who have a dabble now and then. One of them was engaged to a very cute American girl and was basically what some would refer to as a Chad. Maybe some of the gay forum members could confirm?

It's partly that I believe. Which is a good thing. It's also become quite fashionable to be LGBTQ++. Young people love to be the centre of attention and annoy their parents and declaring they are Genderqueer/two spirt or whatever the latest thing is probably achieves both of those goals. Look at meeeeeeee, I'm so special. They can always change back next year when it's no longer at the forefront of fashion, assuming they haven't removed body parts of course.

That's because he's not very bright. Yes his status as grandson of the Queen would have opened many doors for him. I'm not sure using military helicopters to order (and then call off) a hit on the then Prince of Wales could be described as "doing well" though. I'm not sure how good he is as a husband and father. He's certainly a terrible son, brother and grandson. The bullying of the matron at school suggests he wasn't a very nice child either.
