Gary Lineker told to step back from presenting Match of the Day
JonnyF replied to Scott's topic in World News
Good. Linekar isn't above the rules. Everyone knows everyone at the BBC is a left wing Labour voter (and if they're not, they soon become one if they wish to keep their job) but as a publicly funded organization they need to display impartiality. Maitlis was a disgrace and now Linekar has taken over the virtue signaling duties. Hopefully he is sacked for constantly breaking his employment contract. Just because you're so deluded that you think you have the moral high ground, doesn't mean the rules do not apply to you. The BBC loves diversity, except of course diversity of opinion.- 675 replies

Nonsense. The Remain side went completely overboard on the pain. 10% drop in GDP, outbreaks of gonorrhea, they had all kinds of apocalyptic scenarios to try and scare people into staying in the clutches of the corrupt EU. Breakup of the UK? No chance. Especially now Sturgeon has died on the hill of putting male rapists into female prisons. All that work to try to get Scottish Independence and then she blows it all defending the rights of a convicted rapist. Absolute lunacy.

Yes, really. As those stats show it was rising every year since he became Mayor. Obviously when everyone was locked down for the best part of 2 years due to Covid it dropped like a stone, same as vehicular deaths etc. Khan can't take the credit for that any more than he could be blamed for consumer spending decreasing in 2020.

Sadiq Khan has been an absolute disaster for London. When he isn't virtue signalling about LGBTQ++ or pontificating about rejoining the EU, he can be spotted in a 3 car cavalcade on the way to the park to walk his dogs (despite trying to price everyone else out of their cars). Meanwhile, knife crime is completely out of control. He's also ruined the transport system while spending Billions on it. It's a real shame Shaun Bailey didn't get in but London is full of lefty champagne socialists so they'll just have to wallow in their own mess a while longer.

Nothing will change. Considering how much power he has, it's quite incredible how little he can achieve.

Lady Susan Hussey quits over remarks to charity boss Ngozi Fulani
JonnyF replied to Scott's topic in World News
As a lifelong servant of the Royal Family, I'm pretty sure Lady Hussey has nothing but contempt for the way that couple behaved during the last couple of years of The Queen and Prince Philip's life. Accusing the family of racism and then refusing to name names (essentially casting doubt over everyone) was an incredibly cowardly act. Collecting an award for fighting racism in the Royal Family weeks before confirming there actually was NO racism was unbelievably hypocritical. That they chose not to clear up the allegations until after the Queens death was a huge act of betrayal. What was it Harry said? "Silence is betrayal"? Well, he should know after leaving those allegations hanging out there in his Grandmother's final years . -
Tucker Carlson said he hates Trump 'passionately', lawsuit reveals
JonnyF replied to Scott's topic in World News
In my experience, the left are absolutely convinced that anyone to the right of Karl Marx loves Trump. Even when you tell them you don't, they are absolutely convinced that you have a picture of him on your bedside table and support everything he ever said. It's a curious phenomenon. I can virtually guarantee that this post will be followed up with accusations that I secretly adore him. Well, maybe not now that I predicted it (although probably). ???? -
Gender equality still ‘300 years away’, says UN secretary general

You seem very confused. Maybe go back and re-read the thread slowly. You are the one blaming this all on men, not me. Maybe you confused me quoting you with my actual opinions? Who knows... -

I'm not demanding you apologize. I'm just saying that if you had any decorum you would. I certainly wasn't expecting one just as I am not expecting your post to be removed for breaking the forum rules. Been on here too long to expect that ????. -

JonnyF replied to onthedarkside's topic in World News
Some people do blame it all on men, I provided one very clear example from a forum member a few hours beforehand. So it's not "more dishonest BS". It was true and I proved it. You should retract the comment and apologize. However, your ilk never does so I'm not surprised you try to deflect from your silly comment. I believe calling people a liar on the forum is against the rules as well as being incredibly rude and against the spirit of a good debate. Still, you can't teach class and I refuse to be drawn into a squabble in the gutter with someone who has more experience than me down there. As for your attempt at virtue signalling, weak. Sooooo weak. ???? -
Twitter can’t protect you from trolls any more, insiders say
JonnyF replied to onthedarkside's topic in World News
It's simple. The old left wing employees were quite happy to filter out the stories they didn't like, like the one about Hunter Biden's laptop. Now, they're upset because Musk has increased freedom of speech on the platform. The 'hate' they talk of is simply opinions they disagree with and are no longer allowed to remove. If they don't like it, they can work elsewhere. See ya... -
Lady Susan Hussey quits over remarks to charity boss Ngozi Fulani
JonnyF replied to Scott's topic in World News
It's great to see Lady Hussey back in the fold. She never should have been removed as I said at the time. As for Ngozi (or should I use her real name Marlene?) it's hilarious to see her nasty little publicity stunt backfire so spectacularly. ???? Not quite instant Karma, but close. -

???? Here's what you said. JohnnyBangkok blames it all on men. So it is not dishonest BS, is it? Here's exactly what he said. My words that he was quoting are in italics, his reply is not in italics. So it appears you owe me an apology for saying it "is just more dishonest BS". Knowing your ilk, I won't hold my breath.???? -

Gender equality still ‘300 years away’, says UN secretary general
JonnyF replied to onthedarkside's topic in World News
It's relevant since I have pointed out on many occasions that it is the likes of Sturgeon pushing this agenda. Yet people blame it all on men. So I can only deduce from that information that they think Sturgeon is a man. I was clarifying that despite bearing an uncanny resemblence to Jimmy Krankie that she is in fact female. On no occasion did I imply there was anything wrong with looking like Jimmy Krankie. If you assumed that there's something wrong with that particular look, it's your issue to deal with. Don't project your prejudice towards short ginger people onto me. -
Gender equality still ‘300 years away’, says UN secretary general
JonnyF replied to onthedarkside's topic in World News
Try not to take everything too literally ????. Back on topic, despite Sturgeon's uncanny resemblance to the fictional character Jimmy Krankie, just like the actress that played the character I can assure you that she is 100% female. So it would appear that in this case, it is not a man that is eroding women's rights to not be placed in jails alongside biological males. -
Gender equality still ‘300 years away’, says UN secretary general
JonnyF replied to onthedarkside's topic in World News
Actually a lot of the erosion of rights is due to the trans movement, and many of their staunchest supporters are not men, and not even trans, but members of the extreme left wing Wokerati like Nicola Sturgeon. Women supporting male rapists being put into women's prisons. Women who cannot define what a woman is. How 'progressive' and 'liberal'. Feel free to blame it on men though, I bet it's those evil white men as well ????.
