Jeremy Clarkson says he is 'horrified' over Meghan column
JonnyF replied to Scott's topic in World News
Clarkson is a murderer? ???? Sorry, did I miss something? I thought he just made an amusing jibe. -
Jeremy Clarkson says he is 'horrified' over Meghan column

I am not choosing to see it. ???? It is what is there staring me in the face. Pretty much everyone who is honest enough to admit it, can see it. Only those who gaslight or have a major problem interpreting human interaction can't see it. It's like seeing someone laugh and swearing blind they are crying, you are fooling nobody ????. -

If you genuinely can't identify that behaviour as mockery, I genuinely sympathize. Emotional Intelligence can vary greatly between individuals. -

Watch it from 1 minute on. Pay attention to Meghan's mocking and Harry's embarrassment. If you can't see that is mocking behaviour, either you are gaslighting (most likely), or you genuinely lack the ability to interpret human behaviour, body language and responses to them. -

Of course she mocked it. You are gaslighting again. If she can't take it, she shouldn't dish it out. -

Ironically, many of the non-whites in London are racist and/or anti-semitic. So maybe he has a point ????. I highly doubt there is much racism in the champagne socialist, Guardian reading, gentrified areas where white people still make up the majority though. -

Always best to avoid questions you have no answer to, I suppose. She was mocking the traditions of curtseying the Queen, calling our traditions Medieval while laughing at them. If a white British person mocked the traditions of an African culture in such a way you would call it racist, ignorant and insulting. Your double standards are there for all to see and have been well and truly exposed. A birthday cake? Thanks, but you're a few months late. -
The main thing for me is that those seeking to undermine the government at the expense of the country have been put firmly back in their place.

Blair and Bush certainly have a lot to answer for in terms of destabilizing the middle east with their illegal war based on WOMD lies.

Which part of my post do you disagree with? Care to elaborate? Or have you been reduced to just posting facetious, vacous comments now? -
Hopefully it will deter them. It's got to be better than just throwing our hands in the air and admitting it's a free for all and we can no longer control who can come into the country.

Could this corruption scandal signal the end of the EU ?
JonnyF replied to Social Media's topic in World News
There is certainly a lot of anti-UK sentiment on the board. -

I don't rejoice in their misfortune. However, the EU's attempts to break up the UK following the Brexit vote (and generally make things as difficult as possible for us) certainly left a sour taste in the mouth so let's just say my sympathy for them is limited at this point in time, especially as it was their own corruption that led to the current situation. -
Musk sets up Twitter poll asking if he should step down as head
JonnyF replied to webfact's topic in World News
I'm not really sure they knew what they were voting for. Nobody voted for a worse head of Twitter. Some people didn't even vote. They should probably re-run the vote, call it the BluePeople's vote or something? ???? -
Illegal immigrants. Not immigrants. Big difference, deliberately ignored to suit your narrative. You might want to note that Thailand is also cracking down on illegal immigrants. Presumably you're fine with that though... It's only when the Brits do it that you scream from the rooftops.

Qatar now threatening the EU that this issue could harm energy talks. https://www.wsj.com/articles/qatar-warns-brussels-bribery-allegations-could-impact-energy-deals-with-europe-11671381521 Oh dear. Terrible timing for the EU with the war in Ukraine and it's effects on energy supply. It never rains, but it pours. -
It sets a precedent and discourages future attempts. It may even save lives by discouraging others to take such a risk at such expense if they think there is a likelihood of being returned. What would you prefer? A free council house in Islington and a knighthood for Yvette Cooper ? That's sure to deter any future attempts...

Good to see you still have a sense of humour. There's hope yet! ???? -

You're right. He isn't really sorry at all, nor should he be. When you have the audactity to mock the traditions of another country that you clearly don't understand, your ignorance and bigotry deserves to be ridiculed - so no sympathy for Markle on this one. Nice one Jezza. ???? -
Yes I realize it is an exchange scheme. No problem with that - Illegal immigration should be stopped no matter where it occurs. It is a scourge on society, causing problems and hardship for nearly everyone involved, including the illegal immigrants themselves. Ignoring it just encourages people smuggling gangs to profit from the misery and desperation of others.

Great news. It's a shame that the Labour party wasted so much taxpayers money by opposing something that was so obviously lawful, I can only breathe a sigh of relief that they are incapable of winning elections. Let's hope the deportations are swift. There has been enough money wasted on this nonsense already.

I thought his comments were pretty funny. Obviously said in jest for a bit of a laugh. Certainly made me chuckle. It's no surprise that the pearl clutchers have come out in force to wring their hands at the horror of it all. ????
