  1. Good boy Jimmy you found the answer that was sitting in front of you. Now go to the hospital.
  2. Go to the hospital now. That can be deadly.
  3. Something to do with buying on one year contract vs outright purchase. Outright purchase should be no problem or cost using old number. Purchase contract may have many unusual conditions, unknown to most. Need to know contract details or suggest not buying on contract.
  4. Buddhists are welcome at AA meetings. Here Thai Buddhists go to meetings.
  5. Yes you did fine, very clear, and even came up with an uncommon word, gurudwara. Thank you. No offense. I was just offering some clarification because I like Sikhs and their temples.
  6. Washer is enough. Tape tapered threads. Taps and those hoses are not tapered threads. Not good practice, unnecessary.
  7. ???? All Sikh temples are called gurudwara. It is the name of a Sikh place of worship. There are at least three gurudwara in ChiangMai with different names. All good for a quiet meditation, some have free food.
  8. Yes I have observed the process several times. Possible. Mine had no coating and no chipping or other issues. Putting the cement on and smoothing it should be done when the underlying concrete is still damp to insure good bonding.
  9. Doesn’t look polished. I think the concrete is poured and smoothed then before dry cement from the bag is spread and rubbed in until the surface is very smooth, sometimes several applications of cement and a lot of rubbing. I have several floors done that way and no chips or cracks after 20 years. It is a finish option not uncommon here.
  10. Cheeit suppose they put a new wall in, that could not be called refurbish it would be called build. Check it out, the op is tearing out everything except external walls.
  11. Might check with neighbor who has a gardener, it’s not a big job for a gardener to fit in.
  12. It will be water tight, not leak, without being fully tightened mechanically. Only the anal require the latter.
  13. Get one year or get another contractor. They should be building to last for 30+ Years.
  14. No. The top screw holds the handle onto the valve it does not adjust the valve.
  15. Where is the hole?
  16. True for foreign currency deposits? If so that is a change in just the past few years at SCB.
  17. Yes but if they trim the trees every year they could not be building a tire shop this year.
  18. No everywhere else is similarly nightmarish.
  19. Valves are set in an unusual way for filtering. Not sure filter would function with valves set like that.
  20. Yeh that is a concern. I see pipes blowing up in houses several times a week on my routine drives.
  21. Some of the most established shops are in the Warrot market area. Excellent reputations. There many decades before the first mall opened in Thailand.
  22. You forget that the shop’s cost is not necessarily equal to the spot price. They might have bought it in the past at a lower price or bought options or futures at lower costs.
  23. You need to go to a real electrical supply store like the well known one on Wualai Road .
