Each year the same office seem to invent or are required new forms , like a TM 30 x3 I also have to season 3 months despite the law 2 x balance over 400k letters that day 2 x bank statement that day 2 last extension I will have copies of visa from old passport Last entry but no TM6 issued 2 x photo of me 5 x2 color pix of us around house and house no 2 x map 2 x each page of passport - 96 pages her 2 x dated that day wedded still update from ampur 2 x her id card front 2 x her id rear 2 wedding cert front 2 x wed cert rear 2 x blue house book 2 aware of overstay 2 x photo page passport total of 32 plus they want 2 x 48 page passport so rather than drive back I have prepped so 128 pages oh and of course occupation of parent deceased 50 years ago, decomposing was not considered amusing They now have more family pictures than me fee 5700 with multi entry @3800 Is there any thing else I have forgotten, the pile of docs seems to get thicker each year

Thanks , has anyone ever had a second 60 day extension to visit wife though. I did not ask for one , I asked 60 days as no flights during height of pandemic. Or is the purpose of the extension irrelevant and the rule only one time now? realize the Covid panic was a unique situation. Is my easiest to just renew my married O ?

My non o based on marriage was issued vietnam in 2019. During the covid era 2020 i was given a 60 day extension to visit wife once although I asked for it because no flights home. It is in my old passport back in Thai house but immigration may/will have a record? I have kept renewing my non O with annual extensions, I will return using my re entry permit from Sweden in September Can I get another 60 days so as to season funds for a retirement visa I will have 2,3million in a thai bank but it will be 8 days short of the seasoning period for planned transition to retirement visa Or am I better to apply for a 90 day tourist vis but I am not in my home country. Doing a border bounce and letting extension die is the worst option for me due to mobility issues. Any suggestions most welcome

I assume you do not have a Thai or Myanmar ID, the old footbridge crossing in town centre was closed to foreigners last month due I believe to internal factors in Burma. The new out of town crossing is for border freight only I was told not foot crossing for foreigners certainly. To save a wasted journey I would await reports here or why not call Thai immigration, Of course they cannot control what the other side does, but will know on the day ? Good luck as Joe says 60 days will give you some breathing space. Perhaps you may wish to take family to your native country ? You give scant info but do the kids have foreign passports, this may be something you wish to consider and whether rex wife consents etc. There are many other types of visa via employment , vacation , our experts here may have other ideas for you. believe being a parent if your child is under 18? Then depend n your age you could possibly try for retirement if over 50? I have wondered what happens if Thai wife dies, do they allow enough time to season the 800k , even if imported day 1 it won't allow a 60 day extension 2 months required. Would I be better as an insurance and not wishing to leave the country deposit an extra 400k on top of the 400k in my Thai bank used only for non O marriage route please?

Mine will expire a about 3 months after earliest date my office will accept renewals, they took 7 weeks las time.
