According the super app on my expensive phone that is usually wrong going to be much cooler mornings from Xmas onwards for a couple of weeks, at least in Chiang Mai.

Same thing almost. Sorry little thing in our back garden for a day or two but had a collar so posted on the local Moo Baan LINE group but no response so took her to the vets. She had bacterial and viral infections, conjunctivitis rhino sinusitis and jus about everything. Despite the collar the vet she had never been vaccinated. She is still under treatment at the vets, day 5 but now improving rapidly. She will be given the required vaccinations and spayed when well enough. Unlikely we will keep her although she is a real cute young Siamese-ish and seems loving and playful despite her illnesses. Not really cat people and age is also a factor. Will look for a good home for her soon, maybe try the ladies at adopt meow Ch.

Based on my knowledge of many years in Thailand and having seen the situation only gets worse and successive governments failing to do anything positive it is fairly obvious that the only way forward is to form a large committee subdivided in to smaller committees.

162 in parts of Chiang Mai city but I am sure the arsonists can improve on that number in the coming weeks.

Around Chiang Mai generally everything that can be burnt gets burnt.

Only been mentioned a few times but fining the landowners massive amounts of money would have an immediate effect. The forests would need a real monitoring as mentioned in a previous post. The ongoing problem is that most of the landowners are those making the rules and nobody really cares anyway it's simply lip service as it is every year. Don't expect anything to change anytime soon. Currently highest AQI in Chiang Mai city is an unhealthy 169, and it's only December!

The pupils at Chiang Mai International school are enjoying an AQI of this morning, rated "Very Unhealthy"!

Guess they will be forming a committee to solve the deadly smog that is already starting? AQI in some parts of Chiang Mai 151 today (Unhealthy).

The same mushrooms that were able to put a company that I had paid up private pensions with from the early 1970's that I had forgotten about in touch with me that resulted in very welcome payout for me 2 years ago.
